Thank you very much. I have friends all upset because theyre going down the shore. That like why this weekend . Bad timing. How was the timing for the trades and the phillies . Its never good. If were talking about the phillies. At least right now because the trade deadline for non waiver trades was at 4 00 oclock this afternoon. David price was moved to the tigers in a three team deal. John to the as and the phillies theyre standing pat, no deals were made before todays deadline. Even though there was talk about aj burn in the, cliff lee even antonio bastardo. A couple of reports out there that the phillies were in talks right up to the deadline for this guy right here. Marlon byrd. Now he comes from a camp with plenty of accolades as the all time leading in receiver and yards but his maturity thats equally impressive here. Before Training Camp even started, he spent time working out with Calvin Johnson and aj green. Hes the youngest player on the eagles roster right now. But everyone from coaches to players are impressed. Once he catches the ball, i mean, he sets his hair on fire and runs. If we had didnt have fences around here hed run into the street. I mean hes one of the best finishers we have. This is work ethic much hes working like hes a veteran. Five, six, seven year veteran. Sky is the limb for that kid for sure. He was raised right. And, you know, were in counseling. Weve taken the necessary steps to move forward, and i say im in counseling because counseling is not one of them things you go to and things things just automatically get better. Scoring touchdowns and doing what i do as an nfl player, you know, its a very big job. Its very small in terms of being a parent and being a fulfilled husband. Whether or not ray rice was sincere in his comments, it doesnt really matter right now. Its something that well never know. Because he says he can change and he can do all of the stuff but what happened that february night in Atlantic City that doesnt change. Rice wouldnt discuss what happened before the elevator doors opened his wife slumped over on Surveillance Video. He doesnt have to tell us though what happened but ray rice has a daughter and one day hell have to face her with the truth no matter how ugly it is and i think that is the important thing to remember here. So many people go through this and it really doesnt matter what he says to us. Exactly. Its how he handles it with his family from here on out. Exactly. I like the fact that he did say that counseling doesnt cure you like that or heal it like that. A process. I think thats good he noted that other people need to see that, too. Good point.
