How about running back lesean mccoy. From the temperatures make in the 90s today, but he decided to be the only player to come out in sweat pants. The reason mccoy said its a mental thing. And said he probably had his best practice. The players just need to hydrate with lots of liquids. Thats what really it is. Theres one difference at camp this season. Theres no Desean Jackson and his being released made a point to mccoy. No matter how good a player is, you know, its a team and if you cant buy in, you know, anything is possible. Im not sure what the rest of the team takes out of that. Im speaking for myself, you know. A player like that done so much for this franchise. Even in the year that chip was here the stuff he did. So, um, you know, some players, some teams may think, well, hes producing on the field. Thats the only thing that matters. Small things. I take out everything and that was one of the things i took out. Riley cooper had good season last year when he had to step up with the injury to jeremy maclin. Cooper became important to the eagles offense when he had 47 receptions, he actually only had one less touchdown catch than Desean Jackson with eight touchdowns. My work ethic, nothing changes just because, hey, riley, youre the starter. Nothing changed last year when jeremy he went down. And i, you know, stepped in as the number two receiver. You know, my mind set has always been the same. I just play as hard as i can and when the ball is thrown to me just try to make a play. All right. The phillies did was very unlikely after losing two of three games to the cubs over the weekend. Today they completed the sweep of the three game series again the braves. Now you figure them out. Lets go to atlanta and take look. It was hot down there. Somewhere in the high 80s. The umbrella to keep the shade. Now the phillies scored two in the first. They started well but Roberto Hernandez gave up four in the bottom of the first. To of those to evan gattis on this homerun. Second inning, the phillies get it back. Chase utley with an rbi. I mean eight rbis between three players today. They had six straight hits in the second inning the next batter up would be ryan howard. Ever since mike schmidt talked to him in the batting cage on sunday has been on fire. He gets an rbi. Six straight litz. It doesnt matter sometimes how far you hit them or how hard you hit them. Take, for instance, marlon byrd in that second inning. The phillies scored five runs on that infield hit. Theyre up seven to four and they just piled on in the eighth inning. Marlon byrd, yeah, you didnt really need that. The phillies sweep the braves the score there 10 to five. All right. What is a professional golfer without his golf clubs . Ask rory mc elroy.
