So snow moves in between 8 00 and 10 00 across the entire region much ends between 4 00 and 6am and of course we will definitely have some slick spots the sun will be coming out during the day and those salted streets and sidewalks will be helped by that sun. Reporter lucy, just moments ago, we saw more Philadelphia Water Department trucks arrive here on scene and behind me you can see that crews continue working to try to get this main shut off. Meanwhile, officials have also been going door to door to homes trying to assess the damage. Were told that at least six homes took water into their basements and that water cant be pumped out until the main is shut off. Skyfox over 16inch water main break on mill brook road near dear path in the northeast. Philadelphia Water Department crews have been working for the past four hours to get it shut off. As water gushes down mill brook in just i was round the corner of the intersection. Residents say they heard a boom or some sort of explosion around 11 00 this morning. Residents say the area where the water main break occurred has been covered with the metal plate since last spring. They feared Something Like this would happen. It started out as a little sink hole. Happening right now a group of men who police say robbed an elderly man in his home are on the loose. It happened this afternoon in kensington. Investigators say four men knock on the door of the 87yearold man and said they were there for a gas leak. When he open the door, the men forced their way inside. Nobody saw nothing.
