Theyve been working on this for a couple of hours now. When i say work i mean the Philadelphia Water Department is now here literally trying to plow the water away. You see how theyre doing it. What theyre actually doing, the closure initially was in the inner lane here of the bouleva boulevard. They have now about 15 minutes ago they closed off the outer lane as well. So that this Philadelphia Water Department truck could literally start plowing the water away from the inner lane theyre actually pumping the water to the outer lane and then they have this guy just trying to move it to the side. There are a lot of streams and tributaries right off of here as a result with all the rain weve seen over the last several days, this is a low lying area and it was flooded. Now, i can tell you northbound up until about 15 minutes ago this lane youre looking at here was moving. But they closed that off all of the traffic the northbound traffic at the boulevard is now being diverted off. We know that they actually closed the inner lane here about six or seven blocks farther south from where we are so were talking from like welsh road to our south up to red lion road to the north nine blocks all closed traffic being diverted as theyre just trying to plow this water away. So obviously youre going to want to avoid the boulevard around the Northeast Airport for while. Theyre just trying to get this water moving as fast as they can. We can tell you on the southbound lane here of the boulevard no problem. Traffic is moving just fine. But if youre headed northbound, as youre working your way up past the Northeast Airport you can see how theyre trying to get this water out of the way. When allegations arose that he had abused his wife. This is 62yearold Eulalio Tordil being arrested at a Shopping Center in aspen hill maryland around thee this afternoon. Deadly violence began thursday when police say tordil confron confronted then fatally shot his egg stranged wife gladys outside their childrens high school in high point. He then allegedly shot and wound add man who tried to intervene. Now this morning, about 15 miles from that school at a Shopping Mall in bethesda, police say tordil shot three people, killing one and wounding the other two. Half an hour later police say tordil fatally shot a woman outside a supermarket i in aspen hill. Authorities acknowledge they allowed tordil to roam the nearby Shopping Center for about an hour after that shooting before confronting him and arresting him. Knowing his behavior today and knowing of, um, statements that he had made in the past, we did not want to endanger anyone and have a shoot out when we took him into custody, and thats why he was taken into custody the way he was. New information to fight about a deadly accident that shut down a section of route 55 in deptford, new jersey, early this morning. State police say 32yearold annabelle a upon thai of glassboro was hit by a car and killed after she crashed along route 55. Her car hit some trees investigators say she got out of that car and went to the road prior to being struck she was on the ground. But it was unclear why. Police say two drivers initially stopped but kept going after not seeing anything on the road. One of those drivers came forward after seeing a news report about the crash. No charges have been filed at this time. A man is in the hospital after a fall in bethlehem. It happened about 10 00 this morning on the 500 block of conestoga road. Reports say the man fell and got stuck 75 feet up an embankment. Rescue crews were able to bring him down to safety. We do not know yet the extent of his injuries. Really blew up here over New Castle County south of red lion trying to work north but moving west tame. This will be moving no maryland. Just south of wilmington there. The radar picking up that rain just south and rest of the city. It will continue to move from south to west and then really intensify as it dries tries to push west of the area. Notice its closer to where that center of the low is so south jersey, delaware, and areas in southeastern peps could continue to see showers overnight tonig tonight.
