You know the medal that you see on these gents here is really the medal of america much this what america is all about. And so its a humbling experience to put it on but as we put it on i think all of us the four of us think about those who served with us. So its a reminder. Yeah. Its reminder of the past but it makes us keep going for the future. Every medal award the event is happening right now. 300,000 will be given to the children of Fallen SpecialOperations Command marines. Who were killed during a Helicopter Training mission last month. All right. Back to your fox 29 Weather Authority now. As you get caught in that rain out there. I did. Without my umbrella even though scott said keep it handy. I told you. It looks like most of the rainfall has ended for the philadelphia area, guys. But were looking at temperature not that bad considering the clouds and showers. 60 degrees right now in philadelphia at the international airport. Mostly cloudy skies visibility not that bad either at 10 miles but south and east of the city, thats where we have some lingering showers even some heavier rain right now in particular central southern delaware and extreme south jersey. Where you see the orange as well as the yellow that indicates intensity so it is raining a little more heavily i should say as we move into cape may county, ken as well as sussex county, delaware. So dont put away those umbrellas like dawn did just yet yet. You can see Sea Isle City wildwood as well as cape may down to Rehoboth Beach over to milford, dover even in to sections of bear odessa smyrna still looking at some of those clouds and showers. So if youre stepping outdoors in youre south and east of i95 continue to have the rain gear. Decreaseing clouds late tonight but sunshine back for wednesday. Look at this. The low this morning was 56 degrees. So a mild start and the High Temperature today 63 degrees. Thats actually where we should be for this time of year. But it felt cooler of course with the rain and the clouds and winds out of the north. Mid 50s in mill vial now. Low 60s in pottstown as well as reading heres the cold front thats slowly but surely trying to push through our area. We still have clouds for most of the region but you can see were looking at the left over showers continuing to linger over the next several hours in south jersey and delaware. So as we roll the clock by 10 00 oclock when youre watching the fox 29 news at 10 were still looking at some of those clouds maybe a left over shower down the shore but most of the rain will be offshore. Look at this. Tomorrow mornings commute no umbrellas but youll need the shades because were looking that sunshine returning. Sun and clouds tomorrow looking pretty good. Its going to be a seasonal day if not a few degrees above average actually but tonight decreaseing clouds comfortably Cool Temperatures into the 40s. Upper near 60 dry by tomorrow afternoon so it is going to be a midweek winner and then you can see really for the remainder of the week seasonal temperatures. Next chance for rain is friday. But right now the weekend looks pretty good. Its good news. We like the way the weekend looks. Today looked good, too. That will keep you popular. Thanks scott. You think that will work. I think it will. Everyone likes a good weekend forecast. All right. In sports teams and players try anything to win. Something that ive never seen before gives one soccer deem a really better chance. All right. The phillies had issues maybe the biggest problem is their first baseman whose really struggling. What from what i hear the phillies may do with that problem coming up in sports. The phillies play game two of the series tonight again the new york mets. It wont get any easier night. Phillies have real issues that im hearing will be dealt with soon. Now the biggest problem ryan howard. Player general manager ruben amaro told in the off season he would be better off elsewhere. Better off for the phillies. Howard said he wants no homeruns and appears clue less in the plate. He struck out four times sunday and brutal looking strikeout yesterday against the mets. Chase utley hitting under 100 as well but the team believes utley will get better. Ive told the manager has already told the general manager ruben amaro he doesnt want howard in the lineup any longer. I was told today that the team will give howard somewhere around 30 days and see if it doesnt get better. And if not, they will release him. Changes are coming across the infield. Heres what it looks like now. Ryan howard is at first gays base. Chase utley at second. Freddie galvis at short. Cody asche at third. The changing that could be coming once they get rid of howard release or some kind of miracle with trade i hear chase utley would play first base. Maybe blah platoon with car rough. Caesar hernandez would play second base to see if hes the future. Freddie galvis at short. Look for Maikel Franco to third because ash she struggles defensively what happens to cody asche. He could play left field i also hear the organization is about had it with dom brown who is now rehabbing in the Minor Leagues and playing terribly. It gets tougher tonight. Tougher because the mets pitcher is matt harvey. Hes fourzero against the phillies. He throws hard. Too hard for some of the players like ryan howard to catch up to those pitches. Usually the team, rlg term rope a dope is in the sport of bocking. This team its soccer. Liver pool watch this closely its a free kick by the team in white here. Now, you didnt notice what happened . Watch it again. They had this little mini argument and then they rope a dope the other team kick the ball. Its actually pretty good. Its just hay listen its not cheating but if youre not cheating youre not trying. Do whatever you you have to do. I never saw that before. You mean women argue or that. That. Come on now. Scott when are we going to see improve many in the forecast . Oh, boy. We are going to see some decreaseing clouds later on tonight but were still looking at some showers guys in jersey as well as delaware right now. So keep umbrellas handy. All right. I will. Dont forget join us tonight for the fox 29 news at 10. The push to rename a local stadium for a High School Graduate killed serving his country but not everyone is on board with this.
