Reporter unimaginable tragedy in bensalem this morning. 16yearold High School Sophomore mow net was trying to cross bensalem boulevard to get on her schoolbus. She was one of my Close Friends and i was at that bus stop with her. I used to get on the bus every day with her but i was sick today so i stayed home. Reporter she was struck and killed when a young man drove his suv threw the intersection where the bus was stopped. Disregarded the schoolbus activation lights and the stop sign and proceeded through the intersection striking and dragging the child for some distance. When this happened two years ago we called and we asked, you know, what can be done, what can prevent this . Report roar there is still a make shift memorial at a bus stop where another High School Student was killed two years ago. It is about a mile from todays tragic accident. I asked for a crossing guard and they said that they there was no funding for that. Your heart just breaks because this is two years and another child. Reporter students and faculty have been offered counseling. Officials say they crossing guards for elementary and middle School Students in the district. Theres never been a history of crossing guards for High School Students. You know, that would be more of a question for the Police Department than us. Dysoriaing a schoolbus theres no explanation for that. Theres no excuse for that. If charges are warned, that person will pay the price. Reporter the 18yearold driver who is not yet been identified was questioned here at Police Headquarters and released today. The scene of that deadly accident is about a mile from where another teen died as he was walking to his bus two years ago. In november of 2012 a driver hitting killed 17yearold ryan as he crossed bensalem boulevard. That driver was not charged because she had the green light. This past october his parents filed a wrongful death suit against bensalem. The school diss during the Police Department wonders. They say a faulty stop light and the last of the school lack of a School Crossing guard contribute to do his death. Details how the man who went and a shooting ram paper died. Stones body was found around 1 30 yesterday afternoon in a muddy wooded area near his home in pennsburg. Now the hunt for him actually began on monday after investigators chased several gruesome murder scenes stone early monday morning began a killing spree that left his exwife nicole dead at her apartment, her mother and grandmother were killed at their home, and nicoles sister, brotherinlaw and niece were killed at their home. But parents waiting outside for several hours this morning were worried to death for their children until that lock down was finally lifted about 1 00 oclock this afternoon. I dont know what im going to do. I have to do something. I know that. This is crazy. This should not be happening. Per 12th calling to tell her the school went into lock down around 9 30 this morning. We recovered a gun in a trash can inside the school. We also have one, 18yearold mail in custody who possessed the gun. Not getting anything done. But there are many emergency exit doors that do not have them. We dont know at this point how the weapon got in. It could have been through any of the doors throughout the building. She wont be returning to school tomorrow. I cant jeopardize that because i love my child too much. I want to get transfer. This is like the second lock down that they had.
