We talked about storms developing yesterday around this time and that is exactly what is happening right now. Well zoom in and you can see some of the areas that are impacted right now raining very heavily as those storms move toward the radnor area, lower merion abington be on the look out eventually if they hold together moving through philadelphia and then eventually toward the bensalem area. So well zoom in. You can see this is the activity we were watching move out of sections of chester county. Now moving through sections of Delaware County and also you can see farther north and west right now around the norristown area. You are getting dumped on, rainfall rates 2inches per hour if it just sat right there were dumped that rainfall but we need the rain but look at all of the lightning right now moving back toward the easttown area and then those storms are moving toward lower merion as well. But well zoom out farther you can see Upper Providence looking at some very heavy rainfall. Pretty quiet right now around the philadelphia area. But were going to have to watch that activity off to the west. Showers and storms diminished over cherry hill as well as bensalem but were not done yet. Toward the pocono mountains the lehigh valley, the showers and thunderstorms are moving out. But we still have that heat and humidity out ahead of the system so as we put a track on this you can see 5 44 moving toward upper darby moving toward the philadelphia area win the hour were in right now. Approaching trenton as well. So well roll the clock ahead and you can see right now were watching that line of showers and storms. By six 7 00 oclock right along the immediate i95 corridor. But once they hit the i95 corridor, they will start to diminish before they move into sections of south jersey. So some places down the shore especially might not see any rainfall out of this system for today. But take a look at future rain expected for tonight. Where you really see some of those heavy downpours, we could close in on about an inch of rainfall before all is said and done especially north and west.
