We saw a few pockets of some showers but we have more rain and we also have high temperatures only expected in the 40s for the next couple of days. It is going to be a big shock to the system after spring like temperatures yesterday was 75. Today was 69 for the high temperature. Look at ultimate doppler. We have some pockets of showers across the area. Not a whole lot of heavy rainfall but enough to cause slick roadways out there especially moving toward allentown moving around the norristown area watching some showers also approaching conshohocken so just be on the look out for some of those pockets of showers and wet roadways. The low this morning only 57. Look at the afternoon high. 8 degrees above the normal for this time of year which is 61. We were close to 70 as we take a look right now at the Philadelphia International airport there has been some occasional showers out there. 67 degrees right now. Humidity at 70 . And the wind is still out of the south at 5 miles per hour. However, there is a wind shift to to our north. You can see temperatures in wrightstown 40s already. Low 50s in trenton. But still low 60s in wilmington as well as dover. So that wind direction will allow for some colder air to move in over the next several hours across the area and throughout the entire day tomorrow. In fact as we watch how future temperatures will play out you can see by 11 00 oclock tonight, its going to be already in the 40s in philadelphia. Upper 40s in wilmington. And then tomorrow morning were looking at temperatures to start right around 44 degrees in philadelphia. But the wind direction is still out of the north and east. So with that wind direction tomorrow cloud cover and shower chances, yeah, were looking at temperatures stuck in the 40s for high temperatures tomorrow. So its going to be a chilly wednesday. We have High Pressure to the north and that within direction out of the north and east. That will pump in some of that colder air to the south. We still have mild air with those winds out of the south. But that frontal boundary will sag to our south during the evening and overnight hours. You can see it will also serve as a focal point or lifting mechanism for those scattered showers. So grab the rain gear, grab the umbrella and keep it handy over the next couple of days because we are going to see on and off again showers tomorrow morning here 7am. Winds out of the north and east so it will be chilly. Damp and dreary for your wednesday. Pockets of showers around once again not a wash out but just have that umbrella handy in case you need it. Moving ahead to wednesday night were still looking at clouds and showers and chilly conditions across the area. So once again were looking at about a quarter of an inch perhaps over a half an inch once you move into places like atlantic city, wildwood as well as dover and then toward the pocono mountains well likely see about a half an inch of rain. So temperatures tonight, we are looking at cooler weather and then as we move ahead to tomorrow you can see a high of only 48 degrees. Well below where we shall be for this time of year. Those scattered showers will be around. The seven day forecast will show that we keep temperatures only in the 40s into your thursday. Cloudy chilly and then look at temperatures by friday. We soar back into the low 70s. There could be some thunderstorms around and then the upcoming weekend looks pretty nice temperatures in the mid 60s and then as we move toward early next week upper 60s. Another chance for some thunderstorms by tuesday of next week. But if you like spring, wednesday and thursday will not be your days. At least we rebound though. Exactly.
