The detective had his gun out of his holster which is standard procedure when processing an inmate but when the detective put the gun back in his holster that gun fired. Thats when officers opened fire shooting and killing the woman. Officers are authorized to discharge firearm if theyre in fear for their safety or the safety of another individual. First, Law Enforcement sources are telling fox 29 that police do have a person of interest in custody in connection with the murder of a 51yearold overbrook man who was shot and killed while walking his dog thursday night. The 14yearold is being questioned by homicide detectives right now. The teen was picked up with a number of other teenagers this afternoon after investigators spotted him on Surveillance Video. James stoleman was shot one time in the chest during what Police Believe was an attempted robbery a block from his home. Stolemans funeral was today.
