Reporter philip wheatly was just a short distance away in his room at a pine street bed and breakfast when he heard a loud blast in the Early Morning hours. I in you it was a bomb. Reporter wheatly visiting from australia says the explosion was followed by screaming and commotion outside as police and bomb experts raced to the 1800 block of pine street where the explosive device went off. The victim lives in an apartment here with his roommate. He suffered injuries to his hands, face and chest. It was addressed and meant for him, but for what is the issue and the question at hand . Reporter experts say the bomb was a victim activate actid device rigged to go off when the victim opened the package which he thought was a shipment of medication for asthma. The explosive device came in manila envelope and was left at the building monday evening. Its now being analyzed at an atf lab. Its upsetting to hear that anybody was targeted like that. They say he tried to gun down his own teenaged son. 46yearold dorian young was off duty on labor day when he began arguing with his 19yearold son divine inside their home on taunton street.
