Reporter lucy, mahaj brown has had seven surgeries in the past five days and tonight his mother spoke out for the first time calling for an end to the violence. They got to put him on psych meds so he can sleep at night because he waking up screaming. Reporter brown stood before her East Germantown neighborhood grief stricken and heart broken. She had just left her sixyearold son mahaj still in the hospital after being shot last week. 10 bullets pierced his tiny bo body. When Police Say Gunmen opened fire near ashmead and clarkson street. He was one of several people shot. Mahaj was in car with a relative when it happen. This little boy has had seven surgery in the five days hes been at saint christophers. Those who gathered to hear her speak at the rally organized by philadelphia seize fire were moved to tears about mahaj and his mothers plea to end gun violence. I pray for the people that did it. Little girls big voice spoiled a robbery and tonight Philadelphia Police are on the hunt for the man who pulled a gun on a worker at olney dunkin donuts. It happened monday a day that the victim just happened to bring her sevenyearold daughter to work with her. The mom says the robber walked in and asked her for water. She gave it to him and says thats when he pointerred the gun at her face. Her daughter was standing right at the counter. Saw the whole thing and screamed. So she started screaming a scream that beyond i swear everybody heard her outside, and thats when he look at her and he left. He just walk out. Thank goodness she did. Reporter after 5 00 wednesday afternoon two armed men approached this block on comly street in wissonoming. Police say they quickly forced their way inside. Um i just heard a bunch of screaming, and um, gunshots. Reporter neighbors didnt want to be identified after three shots rang out during the Home Invasion. A 22yearold man was shot in the head in front of family members. The gunman fled up this alley behind an apartment complex. The shooter fired from point blank range. Reporter detectives found a semiautomatic handgun and side this dumpster, a specially trained k9 was brought in after witnesses told police both suspects tossed away their weapons. Its scary. So i do think these storms will hold together possibly not as severe but very heavy rain moving into cumberland county. So at the speed it currently is moving east at 45 miles an hour, these heavy storms and torrential downpours will be in the vicinity of Maurice River boy 11 40 laurel lake by 11 47. So please be aware that you are going to hear that thunder and see that lightning moving in. We do have Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for the southern parts of kent county and sussex county, delaware, until 11 45. Look at all that lightning moving into seaford, the delaware beaches within the neck half hour. You will be seeing the storms as well. We do have some rain moving through the Delaware Valley that was philadelphia, drexel hill, even on the jersey side, but im not expecting any storms along the i95 corridor with this.
