A Police Involved shooting after that woman was shot. Well get out of the way here and show you investigators still on the scene here on the 400 block of somerset street around 7 30 tonight. Police called here to the scene. Reports of a man with a gun. They arrive on the scene. A guy is on the steps racking a semiautomatic handgun and then pointing it at police. Seven officers opened fire. Four Philadelphia Police officers, three septa officers who were wearing body cameras from what were being told. The man was critically wounded taken to temple. Two doors down, police found a woman shot in the chest. She was also critically wounded and taken to temple. It is the latest in string of violence against women. Police say it is unexplainable and unusual. It was horrible. I didnt know what to think. The 48yearold female victim in this shooting is in Critical Condition at temple hospital. The 38yearold suspect is also in Critical Condition. No Police Officers were injured in the shooting. Happening right now, a Community Mourning a little Girl Found Dead in a home in camden. Her mother is the one in jail. Prosecutors have charged that woman in connection to her daughters death. You know the community describes this little girl as a loving child who loved getting dressed up and having her hair done and tonight they are waiting for justice and answers about exactly what happened. The news of her death is devastating. Her mother has been charged. A child so young it just was like crazy. It was a big shock. I mean i didnt know what to think then i just kept crying and stop crying and kept crying again because im like, you know, she really didnt get to live her whole life. Reporter according to the Camden County prosecutor office, the girls mother 20yearold lucy gunter is charged in her death. For failing to seek medical attention for signs of injuries to her daughter. This is cell phone video sent to us when paramedics and police went to the home after a 911 call around 8 00 yesterday morning. They found the little girl unresponsive with injuries to her face. She died soon after at the hospital. Jessica, says she helped raise gunter and her daughter. Shes not a clean bill of health. Everybody goes through something in their life. Police say the 14yearold was playing on the tracks when a Freight Train hit him in kensington. It happened right around 5 00 this evening on the 3600 block of castor avenue. His injuries are very difficult to hear. He lost a leg. Right now, 14yearold is in surgery. Doctors are trying to reattach his leg. And stabilize him as best they can. Police are interviewing an engineer who witnessed what happened from another train. The accident stopped down septa trenton line earlier this evening but its now back on schedule. Now this is the second child to lose a limb playing on train tracks in less than two months. In june, a train ran over 11yearold siena ward in southwest philadelphia. She lost both of her legs. Well, basically, lucy, it is a very aggressive brain tumor, and senator mccain went to his doctor, complained of a little bit of double vision and by published reports ended up getting a cat scan and thats when they found the tumor. This is something that is very rapidly growing. They quickly did an mri, and felt that he needed surgery. We know that he had a blood clot near that area which is sometimes a sipe of cancer. And basically had that tumor lee second it was taken out, and by again published reports it looks like it was all taken out, and he is recovering and he is a strong titanium kind of guy. You know, dr. Mike, whats the prognosis for this because we know its a aggressive and recurring. The same thing Darren Dalton had. Darren dalton, ted kennedy, theres some conjecture beau biden may have had this kind of a tumor. The issue is in older folks they dont tend to do as well as younger folks. But it all has to do with their performance and if they are able to be in good shape and take care of themselves, like this man their prognosis is better i hate when people ask me, how long does someone have. Sure. Basically its anywhere from three to four months up to even over a year. But i can tell you, iain, lucy, the bottom line hes going to get the best care there is.
