A beautiful evening at the airport with temperatures that will be cooling down by tomorrow morning into the 40s. 48 in the city. 41 in the suburbs. Autumn chill tomorrow little bit of a shock but by the afternoon beautiful 65 degrees with sunshine. Senate that should really concern us. While on the Senate Banking committee, pat toomey voted to rewrite rules to help bankers like him. And he tried to eliminate protections put in place to stop wall streets risky practices. Pat toomey looking out for wall street and himself, not pennsylvania. Senate majority pac is responsible for the content of this advertising. Eagles cant start off slow this week. Not against a team in the division especially not against the redskins, but something tells me theres not going to be a lack of energy with josh norman on the other side of the ball. Ive covered norman when he was in carolina and he doesnt hold his tongue much nice quiet guy off the field on the field hes trying to dominate you and let you know hes doing you dirty but Jordan Matthews seems to think all those theatrics are just for tv. To be honest lot of that television. I played richard sherman. He didnt say one word to me until after the game. I played josh norman and he said hi and bye. Antonio brown one of the best in the game if not the best in the game. I dont think i saw them talk to each other once. Jordan i promise you norman is going to be talking to someone. All right on the other side of the ball the eagles defense just got lucky tight end jordan read has been diagnosed with a concussion and will probably not play on sunday. Great thing for the eagles because they cant cover tight ends. They get killed by great ones. This is reads sixth concussion since college. Time to think about life after if the ball if you ask me. Of course how war eskin, gary cobb, dave spadaro and myself will break it all down on game day live at tepp am. Eagles redskins at 1 00 followed by dallas at green bay. To the sixers no one cares about preseason but any chance you get to see joel embiid you do it. Weve waited way too long and were way too patient we have to see what this hot guy has hes still playing limited minutes but in those minutes kid looks really really good. First quarter embiid gets the ball, spin move move, pump fake and finishes. Nice move. Late in the first he does it again. Look down low right now. He gets by his man and dunks it back. In just 14 minutes, embiid gets a double double. 11 points, 12 boards. Hes looking really good. Sixers lose 10079. So play off baseball dodgers and national. Chase utley played hero in game four. Winner take all situation tied at two games piece nationals put their ace max scherzer on the mound and scherzer was cruising through six innings. Had a no hitter through four but on the first pitch of the seventh inning peterson just crushes that one. That game is tied at one in the seventh right now. We got to look at this again.
