Reporter woman charged with kidnapping 32yearold Cherie Amoore held back tears as she arrived in handcuffs at her arraignment friday afternoon as she entered the courtroom itself and laid eyes on her mother ren nay a Top Executive with the state Republican Party she burst into tears. Tough time for these folks. Just want to keep everything and let god have his way in this situation. Reporter police say amoore snatched the seven week old from his stroller while his mother was distracted at the king of prussia Mall Food Court thursday evening. Amoore truck up a conversation with the boys mother and followed her for while before snatching the child. A frantic search aided by tips and witness accounts led police to amoores tredyffrin home several hours later. She did not deny anything right away. Immediately told investigators she had taken the baby and they were able to see the baby pretty quickly and determine that he was healthy. She has told our investigators that she did not go to the mall with the intention to steal ba baby. Reporter according to the criminal complaint, amoore told authorities she had given birth to baby boy on february 11th but that he had died hours later. Shes quoted as saying little ams ir i held him and all those feelings rushed back. It felt like i was holding my son again. It felt so good. I didnt want to lose that feeling. I was crazy. Its a very difficult day for everyone. Its difficult for her. Its difficult for her family. I moon you saw her in the courtroom. She was shaken. I was getting ready to be a grand parent today. Amoores talk of pregnancy started last mothers day. Gale says despite a baby shower and baby registries things just werent adding up for her or for her son. After awhile he started, you know, questioning it, but, you know, always like she always had another story, another story. Mom is taking me to my doctors appointments or she would conveniently have her doctors appointments while he was at work. Reporter there was the issue of the sonogram. Sonogram of somebody elses child online she googled and a picture of the baby that was in her stomach. Reporter her due date. She kept changing the dates. The baby was supposed to be born after my birthday. My birthday is the 18th of december. There was so many conflicting stories and the neck thing you know she had baby february 11th. Gale says the first time her son ever saw a baby was on thursday when amoore allegedly came home from the kidnapped child and even texted her some photos that she since erased. The pictures him holding the baby. He also saw the newscast and thats when you know hes like put the baby down and got up and left. Reporter going to her parents home where they called police. The death of four people at a wilmington apartment complex are ruled accidental according to the Delaware Division of forensic science. Each class from pre k all the way to eighth grade adopts a family for the entire school year. They need a lot of help, and were doing as much as we can. Reporter today students are making cards and raising money to send their families to hershey park but every month its something different. From a thanksgiving feast delivered to families to valentines treats, to big easter baskets sent to pediatric Cancer Patients in local hospitals. Happy and appreciated that we do this stuff for them. We help them see that, you know, its important for us to do good things for the world, and when you just give them a little bit an inch they just want to keep going with it report. Aside from all the support and all those prayers the kids have raised almost 10,000 for their families. They plan on continuing the program next year.
