Some of the neighbors and even businesses questioned whether or not the name hurts the desired desired fanly environment. The owner said it was a well thought out decision. For 30 people we asked people what they thought. Were they offended. 99point 9 of the people laughed and we felt comfortable to move forward. As for the old city pizza shop. The results are in. Oh, Marcus Mariota. We will not see Marcus Mariota in an eagles uniform. Im not happy about it but i know the fans are distressed about it. All right. All those reports for weeks probably months about the eagles going after Marcus Marriott tam the reality a lot of what was reported was nonsense. And tonight just minutes ago chip kelly addressed what the eagles actually did try to do with the first pick which was tampa bay and the second pick which was tennessee. Chip kelly. We had a conversation with both teams but it was way too steep for us to do anything. It didnt really get very serious. At no point did you get close to getting up there . No, not at all. No we didnt off any players to anybody. We didnt get in any discussions so it wasnt really it was just really steep price. Like driving into a nice neighborhood and looking at a house and saying thats really nice and tow they will you the price and you drive away. We didnt walk in the front door. We didnt look around. Part of our plan as we said all along, you know, well build this team and we still think theres a lot of value in this draft and future drafts. Hold on to our picks if we can. First conversation we had with them was yesterday. We said we would talk today. They did i think they made the right maneuver. If i was in that same i would have done the same thing. Maybe house didnt have a pool. Maybe thought part of the problem. The player the eagles did get the player you will see out there and they needed a player at this position was wide receiver Nelson Aguilar wide receiver out of. Sc 6foot 198. Great numbers. 104 catches this past season came out as a junior. He had 12 touchdowns and chip kelly addressed what he liked about Nelson Aguilar. Hes a great fit for what were doing.
