The woman who lives here saw her daughter nearly killed earlier today and the home accidentally set on fire. She came and tried to kill my daughter. Reporter angry mother tonight worried about her daughter 24yearold Deedee Spence who lost part of her leg in a violent hitandrun this afternoon outside of her home. A hitandrun her mother says was intentional. Whole bottom of her leg is gone. All because this girl wanted to come down here over a guy that my daughter wasnt even with. Amputated. Ruby ruby family and friends overcome with emotion this afternoon. She came back, she came back, the driver came back and the suv, she came back and she ran her over. She ran her over. She ran her over. Reporter witnesses say spence and another woman had been fighting over the man for the past week but threats turned to violence neighbors neighbors saying accusing of others of vandalizing their homes as Deedee Spence was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home this white Dodge Durango slammed into her severing part of her leg. Nearby store caught the suv with front edge damage as it sped away. You could tell she was really badly injured and she was was out of it. Her mom revised it. In a panic she forgot she had something cooking inside her home on the stove when she suspects may have caused the fire. Iran out and i was out here when it happened and i jump in the ambulance with her. I called home they said your showers on fire. Nothing i can do. I just jumped in the ambulance with my daughters leg hanging out of. Neighbors didnt believe it led to this. Sometimes things escalate out of control. Sometimes people dont handle things the way they should and this is a trial really extreme case of. Police seem to know who theyre looking for. They have not been able to fine the woman them not officially released her name at this point jennifer we are not either. Thanks, brad. Police say they are waiting for the driver to turn herself n the boy was hit after running into the street on the 1600 block of south 57th street in kingsessing. What investigators do have the suv was involved. It was found a few days ago at a parking garage near love park in center city. A mother and her boyfriend are charged with killing that womans twoyearold son in Delaware County 30yearold Shannon Matthews and her boyfriend daniel graph ton are in prison charged with murder. Officials say matthews twoyearold son mason hunt was in her boyfriends care when he rushed the lifeless boy to a doctors office. Graft ton claimed the boy drowned in the bathtub but authorities noticed injuries on the boy that didnt add up. This child had on his body multiple wounds, multiple bruises. This child was the victim of being battered and being beaten. The medical examiner found more than 100 bruises on the boys body and added the death of the twoyearold was homicide alibi nature. Reporter theyve just released this video because they want to get this guy 32yearold ronnie reid, off the streets. Hes wanted for a shooting here in the happy nine darby three weeks ago. Heres what police say happened. Just after midnightings the suspected saturday shooter bounds out the door, reaches into his waistband and grabs his gun. Then he waves it all around as hes pacing in agitation. His buddies and the victims buddies confront each other. So what are they so angry about . Police say reid the guy with the gun stepped on the victims sneakers inside and then the tensions just kept building even as they moved outside. You can see more strong words and gestures. Then the violence explodes. Police say reid starts firing even though hes on a crowded sidewalk chasing down the victim as he runs away. Shooting him in the back five times shattering the victims organs. This guy was actually chasing, running after him while he was shooting at that him you can see the victim fell right by the front of the vehicle and he lost a tremendous amount of blood. I mean he was in Critical Condition for several days. Reporter they purposely are not releasing the victims name. Hes only just been releaseed from the hospital and will likely have injuries for the rest of his life. Hes out and hes alive but he was pretty seriously injured. Reporter take another good look at the suspect. 32yearold ronnie reid has several very distinctive tattoos much hes got two tear drops by his right eye a zip gang tattoo on one arm and mommas boy tattoo with a dog on the other. Police say hes got a prior record and he is dangerous. If you know him, if you see him, if you have any knowledge about him kindly call 911. But do not approach him. Hes extremely dangerous. Report. Investigators say officer james mchugh tried to stop a bmw on west high street and sunny side avenue for driving erratically. The officer says the driver didnt stop. Another officer joined the pursuit, shots were apparently fired after the officers cornered the car. Mchugh got out and started walking towards the driver. The driver tried to take off hitting mchugh. The driver is now in Police Custody at the hospital with a gunshot wound. Mchugh was also hurt. And police in Gloucester County are looking for two men who broke into a home, handcuffed and assaulted the owners. Then robbed them. Investigators say two masked men climbed through a window of the williamstown home early this morning. The couple in their 60s was handcuffed to a chair while the men ransack the home.
