Last night just before 9 00 p m officers in the 22nd district heard a barrage of bullets, gunfire led them to the 24 hundred block of huntington where they encountered a 17 yearold who was just running inside his home, moment before that he had been hit in the chest by one of those bullets. Victim was taken to the hospital in extremely Critical Condition, and, later died. Detective discovered 19 shell casings at that scene. They say eight of them were fired at point blank range from a semiautomatic handgun. Several witnesses were in the area at the time and they are cooperating with the police buzz they are hoping that Something Else can help them solve this crime.
