There were a hundred people at this party many sent running and ducking when shots were fired a 19 yearold was shot in the back and arm. Twentythree yearold man was shot in the arm as well. They are both in stable condition at temple hospital. Police set the the scene for us. Based on ballistics evidence we know at least three shots were fired from the semiautomatic large caliber weapon. We found shell casings in the 2200 block of park avenue. We have numerous witnesses, at least ten witnesses who stated that this shooting all started, from a fightin side a party, in a house in the 2200 block of park avenue there were at least 100 people inside this house. Police say while they were on the scene they saw one man trying to hide a gun and run. They caught up with him, he put up a fight but they were able to take him into custody. It is unclear if the shots were fired from that weapon or not. Reporter good morning. We dont know of any Temple University students at that house party or involved in anyway but we do know it happened just one block from campus. Police tell us that they were in the area patrolling when they heard shots fired. They raced over to the area have of the 2200 block of park avenue. Investigators say shooting stemmed from a fight at a house party which spilled out in the street. There were a hundred people at the party. Many sent running and ducking when shots were fired. Police say two people were hit. When Police Responded and drove to that location they found two shooting victims a 19 yearold male suffering from three gunshot wound, one to his abdomen, one to his back and one to his arm. Police transported him to temple hospital where he is presently in critical condition. A second victim a 23 yearold male was shot one time in the arm. Police transported him to temple hospital and he is in stable condition. Police say while they were on the scene they did see one man tried to hide a gun and run. They caught up with him put up a fight but took him into custody. It is unclear if shots were fired from that weapon or not. Police have that one person in custody and ten witnesses whom they are talking to right now and they know surveillance in the area caught that shooting so they are hoping that help in the investigation.
