Hopefully you all caught up on some restful street, where weve had three in a row of thunderstorms in most of the area. Not the case last night. Cold front you can see off shore, we peak at ultimate doppler, what was responsible for three persistent days of the heavy rain, a lot, a lot of rain, fell across the delaware valley. Thats now gone. We saw skies clear yesterday. And theyll stay cheer through today. Now we had three days in a row in the 90s, checking heatwave of the month, of the year, 83 was all for wednesday, 87 the normal. So very comfortable change. 70 degrees in philadelphia, still mild, but were the only exception to what is real a lot of 60s showing up on the map, 06 lancaster, 63 wilmington, 64 atlantic city. Thats dramatic change for some every us, millville, 13 degrees cooler than where we were this time yesterday. And i think as we head toward daybreak, well all drop few more, symptom starting in the 50s, showing sunshine, models want to put a shower in, there i highly doubt it, i think we see beautiful sunny day. Foxcast, 84 degrees, so like yesterday, it will be on the cool side. Still warm, just not too hot. Into tonight, mostly clear, comfortable, 64 for the low temperature, great weather today, i believe a ten, i believe we can do it again tomorrow. Then maybe cast if i we really believe well pull it into the week end. If we really believe, caitlin, and happy thursday. Looking at the majors, happy thursday, nothing to worry about for the most part. Accident from overnight. Sticking with us, upper pittsgrove, route 40 completely shutdown, accident there, also an investigation at the scene, shutdown right around bridgeton pike, take route 322, or 49, to get around that, chris . Kacie, thank you. Lets get right to breaking news from overnight. Two bodies found at a home in philadelphias Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. Steve keeley on spangler street. Steve . Reporter chris, i just talked to investigators, here is what they had. Around ten of 1 00 they get a call for a woman screaming, down the street, around the corner. It was 39 year old daughter of this very elderly couple who has lived here for years. The police had trouble even getting into the house, initially, because it is a hoarder situation. So they found a woman 66 year old, very heavyset, face down on the floor, the tv is playing, her husband is 79 years old, and hes also dead. They pronounce them dead at ten after 1 00. And thats why their daughter was screaming and upset. So, they initially thought was it Carbon Monoxide, was it a crime. They opened all the windows, Fire Department is called, they break one of the windows, and find no Carbon Monoxide in here, no signs of trauma, no blood, no crime scene, in forced entry, none of the usual stuff you see. So theyre going to have to wait for an autopsy. But the initial thinking from the investigators, possibly this woman died of Natural Causes and being hot out the last week, they dont know how long theyve been dead, maybe the husband may have passed trying to revive her or upset dealing with that situation. So thats what you have here. Probably not a crime and not Carbon Monoxide, nothing anything anybody has to worry about in the neighborhood, but just tough time getting around the house, because that is definite hoarder situation there is couple has lived here for long time and collect add lot of garbage and debris apparently in their house and thats where police are right now with their investigation. So probably just a sad scene and a sad story for the family members out here who are starting to arrive now, a lot of kids. We may hear from them real shortly. Steve, sad, and unusual that they are both dead. All right, when we get more information, well pass it along. They think initially this might be simultaneous Natural Causes deaths. Now, police were alerted just before 1 00 a. M. Here, from a 911 call, after woman screaming out here on the street, it turned out to be the only child of the couple found dead, 39 year old daughter of the retired couple living here in the rowhouse since about 1970. And the daughter found both their mom and dad dead on their first floor, where you can see in our vyed yo through the front door, the tv was still on. Police came and found no sign anyone broke in, no sign anyone had killed them or harmed them, no trauma to either body, no blood on the scene, and their initial thought as soon as the couple was officially pronounced dead here at ten after 1 00 was Carbon Monoxide may have killed them. But the Fire Department also got here within second, opened all of the windows and doors immediately while at the same time testing right away, got no reading at all there was any Carbon Monoxide levels. So, the initial thought, unofficially, the couple may have both simultaneously died somehow of Natural Causes. But wont have any answer officially until the medical examiner makes the ruling after autopsies. We spoke with one of the couples grandchildren. Theyve been on this particular block in this particular house for over 40 years. They were a couple that bothered no one, both were retired, recently retired from Hahnemann Hospital about a year now. And she was 66 and her husband i believe was 78. As of right now they havent ruled out foul play, but again, Carbon Monoxide has been apparently ruled out. Now, police told me they got here that this was hoarding house, a hoarder situation, which made their investigation also difficult. So one investigators told me she was found face down. They thought she was a heavyset woman. They thought maybe she died first and her older husband, 13 years older than her, may have been overcome trying to revive her himself, trying lift her, trying to help her. And theyve seen these kind of cases before, again, but they wont have official answer until the medical examiner makes a ruling, that will be after autopsies later probably not until this afternoon. Steve, thank you. 4 36 right now. Fighting continuing in the west bank between palestinian and Israeli Security forces, israeli air strike, exchange moves gaza sit.
