Bill thanks for coming in. You are chasing a story a sad story that starts out with a kid diagnosed with cancer. Her son was diagnosed with cancer at three months old. Linda believes his cancer along with a cluster of cases are associated with a chemical found in the water. A recent study found that one chemical did not cause cancer in rats. I spoke with linda and her attorney. They feel the study tested the wrong chemical and provided misleading results. Linda works as the executive director of ocean of love nonprofit love nonprofit that helps children and their families fighting cancer. I met with them at lenders office to learn her story. She says this did not have to be done. The real study happened years ago. That true study was done years ago. Our children were the mice. There biggest fear is the study will be used to allow the water to contain the chemical that she believed caused cancer in her son and so many others. The Chemical Industry we will spend this. She wrote this book with a forward by michael j fox. She says she dedicates her life to all the children that she is met through the years of cancer. Bill has this been and continue to use since they initially settled . They did settle. The interesting thing that does give them a compelling case the cases of cancer dropped once the well was turned off. Heres the thing. One child with cancer is heartbreaking but that area since the 90s 90s their been trying to link it to cancer and prove it. Nine children over 15 years a much higher statistical number. Says the since the settlements have been made is theyre a lingering threat . Bill unfortunately unfortunately, that incident tarnished the reputation. It is associated with the idea that the water is bad. It is amazing how one incident it was high enough that theyre was a settlement that came out of it. Those with the most are actually top and the division. Its really amazing how it is transforming. Usually when you are the immigrant you are ostracized the actually part of an international program. This actually help the students from both schools come to talk to one another and make friends and joined together. Its pretty amazing. Today governor christie held his budget address.
