When we talk about the manatee that are stuck here, what can you say about the experience . Theyre happy. Theyre so happy. Theres plenty of it. Occoli and the pond is overrun with it. Its been a winwin. They get a great vacation, full bellies and we get a little hydrilla taken out of the pond. Reporter there are a lot of people, a lot of organizations involved in making sure they are stressfree as possible of a way. What is going on in that regard . Fish and wildlife is here. Theyre leading the operation supported by the fwc and then their volunteers. There are be about 100 people on site to rescue the manatee and make sure that everything is done efficiently, effectively and stressfree. We have one mom that we think is about 1,500 pounds so it will take about 20 people to lift that stretch to her carry her and put her on the other side of the bridge. We go out there every day and check on them along with a bunch golf course manatees so we will miss them for sure but we have plenty of other manatees in the bay. We have to clean the room. It will be much longer to test situations. Laura several cities in Pinellas County said hermine overcame their systems, too, sending nearly 175 million gallons of sue janl sewage in the bay. Russell early approval was given for some ride sharing regulations but it still remains to be seen if uber and lyft will stay or go. Public Transportation Commission dropped some of the most wednesday. But the rule about full background checks for drivers remains. Uber is threatening to leave tampa if it passes. At a Homeland Community summit meeting yesterday, an agreement to cuba has not been signed and returned to the u. S. In august t. S. A. Released a statement stating the u. S. And cuba reached an agreement allowing air marshals to travel undercover on certain flights to and from cuba but again, that agreement was never signed by cuba. Rubio took to the senate floor potential terror threat. This could have here on the u. S. Listen in. This is a startling admission from the administration. Its a startling administration by the t. S. A. And the american people. They lied. They told us these flights would not begin until they had reached an agreement with the cuban government to have air marshals and other security measures in place and today, only because they were asked, only because they were asked, did they admit reporter as of right now, theres no indication that cuba would reject the agreement but the question this morning by a lot of lawmakers and folks at home is why havent they signed the agreement as of yet . Keep in mind, there are commercial flights and there are charter flights. The charter flights have air marshals.
