He was expelled from the school after he got arrested for threatening a gas station clerk and firing a gun in the air. Allred is a former army green beret. And his attorneys argued that he suffers from ptsd and alcoholism. He was sentenced to two years of house arrest. But he only needed 17 credits to earn his bachelors degree. Judge gregory holder heads up a new veterans treatment court. He asked usf to give allred another chance. By taking online courses. 3 but the school says if a student is convicted of a felony they have to serve the entire sentence, before reinstatement could even be considered. Usf has more veterans.
