Anthony a shooting on capital boulevard, two men are hurt. Tyquann lamar talley and Carlos Dshon Wright are locked up. I heard a pop, and i thought it was a car backfiring, but i saw two gentlemen running and the one in the back was pointing a gun and running. Anthony . Newly released 911 calls described the chaos that happened friday afternoon at this busy Shopping Center at capital boulevard. Moments later, gunshots erupted in the parking lot next to the pnc bank. I see a gentleman running out of the store. Hes looking nervous. He was helping a customer and then laid on the couch as he hid inside. He kind of approaches me and hes asking if he can use the phone. Prada says he sat down in front of him and made phone calls. Minutes later, police had the store surrounded. Nothing happened, but thank god, everything nothing happened. He had his hands up and the police took him away. Wright is being held on a 1. 1 million bond. He is facing robbery charges including assault with a Deadly Weapon with intent to kill. 17yearold Tyquann Lamar Talley is also facing robbery charges along with aiding and abetting. He is on a 400,000 bond. Two people have been taken to wake med for their injuries and were awaiting an update on their conditions. Police do not believe this shooting was random. Police say the goal is to educate people about the dangers the number of impaired drivers on the road. Canine units were out to help with drug searches as well. Anthony a fayetteville man already detained for a parole violation. He is accused in two sexual assaults with the same victim. The crime was reported in january in the 2000 block of candlelight drive, two counts of rape and attempted rape. In fayetteville, two men arrested in separate sex assault cases. This is a case dating back to 2003 and robert brown was arrested in a rape that occurred in 2004. Caitlin new details this morning about a deadly work place shooting in kansas. A woman is now charged with giving guns to that suspect. Sarah hopkins is used of giving two weapons to cedric ford. Prosecutors say she knew ford because she was a convicted hopkins and ford used to date. New this morning, yokoono waking up in a new york city hospital. A representative for her said she had a stroke those reports she had a stroke are not true. Instead, she was simply experiencing some flulike symptoms. She went to the hospital at her doctors office. Home, two men are locked up in connection with a shooting that injured two people on capital boulevard. 17yearold Tyquann Lamar Talley and 18yearold Carlos Dshon Wright were arrested yesterday. Wright pulled the trigger, but talley helped him steal one of the victims walts. The two men were shot just after 1 00 yesterday afternoon. Both men were alert and talking but police have not released their identities. Both men were taken to wake med for treatment. Anthony a man accused of breaking into the same church twice. Police arrested lany lochleer yesterday. Someone broke into the Colonial Baptist Church on february 17th and did it again three days later. Evidence led them to arrest lochlear. Caitlin a special legislative session could be in the works to address a special vote in charlotte, allowing transgender people to choose which public bathroom they want to use. Andrea what started as a week of celebration within the Lgbt Community is ending in frustration. I was flabbergasted. It was beyond unbelievable. Andrea the Advocacy Group praised the Charlotte City council for voting to expand lgbt protections in its nondiscrimination ordinance but state House Speaker tim moore is looking to strike it down quickly in a special session of the legislature. Our state has gone a little bit crazy getting involved in local issues and the state issues. Andrea republican lawmakers insist it is a state issue calling one provision that allows transgender people to allow choosing between mens and womens bathrooms a safety concern, calling a special session before it goes into effect april 1, would cost taxpayers about 42,000 a day. I do think its worth it. Andrea the conservative policy group echoes more sentiment that regulatory burdens on private businesses, that would be better off left to their own to respond to consumers demands. Thats because of the power that Public Discourse has in the marketplace of ideas, and we think thats the proper place for this debate to take place, not to a city mandating what people must or must not do in their businesses. Andrea so a 3 5 majority of house members would need to be found before a special session is called. Governor mccrory would have to step in and call the special session himself. A dog rescued from deplorable Living Conditions last summer is back. When Durham County sheriffs deputy dakota found him, he was emaciated. After being nursed back to health, marty was returned to durham and reported by the deputy. And a middle school got an unexpected guest before they left for the weekend. This oneyearold buck inside the classroom caused quite a commotion after it jumped through an open window and into the building. It then busted a wall, knocked over a water cooler trying to get back outside the building. It happened as the students were about to be dismissed.
