stacy cohan joins us with more. >> reporter: the progression will not be able to use all of the graphic photos they had hoped to use when they address the jury here in rockville. 29-year-old brittany norwood is on trial. the charge is first degree murder. she is accused of viciously beating her coworker, jayna murray, to death. and judge robert greenberg called some of the crime scene photos so gruesome that he believed they would prejudice the jury against norwood. now, those photos willing be allowed later in the trial as evidence. police believe norwood killed murray after she was accused of stealing from the bethesda yoga peril store. murray's college roommate stoned by the courthouse yesterday. >> she was full of joy. she had a way of embracing who you were. she loved what she did and did what she loved. i'm going to take that and do everything that i love to do which is running and traveling. >> reporter: norwood originally told police the pair had been attacked by two masked men. that story fell apart. i'm stacy cohan. back to you. >> thank you. the two suspects arrested for the deadly shooting on a metrobus will be held in florida until an extradition hearing. vince gray and del ron schiso were picked up yesterday. they are accused of killing demetrius thompson last thursday. police say surveillance video taken on the bus led to the arrests. at this point, investigators don't know the relationship between the victim and the suspects and they are not sure yet why they were in florida. a break in the case of a man posing as a cop and taxing women in the herndon area. police arrested 31-year-old thomas kim of herndon for two attacks back in october 11th. they are not releasing his photo just yet. the first at 3:45 in the afternoon on magnolia street. second at 7:00 that night on eldon street. kim is suspected in five other similar cases. in central virginia, the hunt continues for a missing 9- year-old autistic boy. robby woods has been missing since sunday when he wandered away from his family at the north autopsy abattlefield park. hundreds of of volunteers showed up to help search for him. he doesn't speak and was last seen wearing a red long sleeved t-shirt and blue athletic pants. the council will be taking up nine bills intended to clean up the way it does business. the bills being considered include measures to tighten campaign reporting requirements, term limits for council members and barring council members from holding outside jobs. a commission created by maryland lawmakers and governor martin o'malley is endorsing a plan that would raise the state's gas tax by 15 cents per gallon. it would go from 23 1/2 to 38 1/2 cents. that is more than double d.c.'s gas tax. the increase would be phased in over three years but additional fees could go up by next summer. the presidential campaign trail takes a detour through northern virginia this morning. republican hopeful mitt romney is set for visit fairfax county job of your fox 5 on-time traffic. a bizarre case at the fairfax county courthouse. the jury actually had to decide if a woman was guilty ever not cheaping up after her dog. the jury said not guilty. fox 5's john henrehan has more on the story. >> reporter: the law in fairfax county is clear. if your dog poops during a walk, clean it up. cornell sisters, virginia and christine, say their neighbor, kim, didn't do that on throw consecutive days in late march an early april. they used a camera mounted at their window at all time to record the alleged transgression as well as hand held cameras. the defense was simple. there is an ongoing feud between the dog walker and the cornell sisters who have called police on a half dozen allegations including an allegation of trying to run one of them down in a parking lot. that reckless driving case ended in an aquittal. the opener of the dog testified the poop in the pictures didn't look like her dog's waste and she offered even more evidence to the court. >> my dog went to the bathroom this morning and i scooped it up, put it in a baggy and i put it in my car this morning because i thought maybe it would help the case. but i forgot it it is in the car. it has been there all day. >> after only about 15 minutes of deliberations, the jury voted unanimously to acquit on the charge of violating the pooper scooper law. one juror was overheard saying the panel believed the vendetta defense. >> it was a waste of the court system's time and it was amusing to be here for i'm sure like i said jury duty to dog duty but it wasn't funny to me. it accused of a deadly shooting on a metrobus will be held on fugitive of justice charges in florida. they were arrested outside a hotel in orlando. police say they killed december eatious thompson on a been praying and been thinking that something good will happen. >> reporter: police say nor wood's original story that the two were attacked by two masks men is a work of fiction. meanwhile, the judge says that some of those pictures may be used. all of them will be admitted into evidence as crime scene pictures. they will let them use a few of the less gruesome photographs in the opening statement
