We start in Prince Georges County where the Fire Department is honoring a firefighter who was shot and killed while responding to a call just one year ago. Earlier tonight dozens of firefighters from all over gathered here to honor him. At eht everybody called for a moment of silence. That was the time he was shot and killed last year. All personnel please be advised a moment of silence in honor of john skillet oms schneider. The event was held at a church in college park. To the district now where police are searching for a man wanted in connection with two separate assaults in northeast. The first attack happened thursday in the 100 block of kenilworth avenue. The victim says the man came up behind her while she was walking and groped her. The Second Attack happened around 6 30 this morning in the 200 block of 34th street. Originally the agency planned for this to be a longer period of continuous single tracking. Metro now says instead search 14 will be a shutdown in order to reduce the amount of time repair work will impact customers and its going to be split into two faces. Surge one goes from april 15 through april 29. Free shuttle between greenbelt and Prince Georges County and two stations will be closed, college park and greenbelt.
