Well to the west of us right now. But it is moving closer and its all associated with a warm front. That frontal system will definitely be responsible for bringing us some more of that rain once we hit into the overnight hours as i said. So i do anticipate it starting after midnight at some point. You can see the clouds are rolling in as well. And its not going to be a total washout for your monday, though. Thats at least some good news. Well get some breaks and were not sure how much sun well see, that depends on the cloud coverage, but breaks before we see it kicking in again later on monday. The winds have been an issue this weekend, finally getting a break at least for tonight. Those winds have diminished. However once we get into monday thats another thing that will change. A bill to strengthen drunk driving laws is coming down to the wire in maryland. Supporters of the bill gathered in bethesda today to urge state version of the legislation. Noahs law is named after Montgomery County Police Officer noah leotta. He was killed by a suspected drunk driver last year. Representatives from both cham bers are meaning to hammer out the differences between the two bills but the time is running out. The General Assembly ends its session tomorrow. Noahs law is in peril. A bill that had unanimous support in the house, unanimous support in the senate, is now in jeopardy of dying in committee because of extra unrelated provisions that were added to the bill at the last minute. If passed, the bill would put ignition interlocks on cars of people convicted of driving driving. He is urging state legislators to pass the bill. New details tonight in the murder of former nfl smith. He was shot and killed in an apparent road rage incident last night. They have no evidence to indicate the shooter and smith actually knew each other. When we arrived we located mr. Smith partially inside his vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was later pronounced dead on the scene. We also found his wife who had been shot to the right leg. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated for nonlife threatening injuries. This is a particularly hard blow for the city of new orleans because will smith was not only a star Football Player for a decade, he was also a key member of the team that played a year after hurricane katrina. Smith and his wife were driving in the Lower Garden District around 11 30 in new orleans on saturday when a hummer rearended smiths mercedes. They exchanged words and the driver of the hummer pulled out a gun and started witnesses say they heard between six and eight shots. His wife was shot in the leg and rushed to the hospital. Police say the child and her parents were coming back from dinner when gunfire broke out. The girl is being treated. So far no arrests have been made is good some pretty scary moments in Prince Georges County this afternoon after a driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a restaurant. Take a look. This happened on kenilworth after in riverdale. Police tell us the driver crashed into the front of a restaurant there. One person inside suffered minor injuries and the good news is the driver stayed at the scene. Police did issue tickets and they are still investigating what caused the crash. The plane landed safely back in key west. Officials say when the bird hit the planes jet one of the engines failed. No one was hurt. Lets take a look at whats going on, were keeping a close eye on this system. There is a frontal system here and you can see it with it plenty of rainfall and that is what is heading our way. We expect to see it start to fill in here in the overnight hours and so by the early morning, expect to wake up to see some of that rainfall. Most of this is going to the north, however. Closer to the masondixon line but i cant rule out that were not going to see some it, so be prepared to get ready to venture out. Its not a total washout.
