The flames have been put out the people who live there have to scramble to find somewhere else to go. Fox 5 Lindsay Watts with story. Reporter fire crews have been here hours in freezing conditions. About 65 firefighters responded after two top floor apartments caught fire. Those two apartments were destroyed and ten others left with water and smoke damage. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. More than 40 people out of their homes. The red cross is helping them find a place. We saw residents wrapped up in blankets and some families piled into cars to keep warm. I have five sisters. The smoke is dangerous. We got in because some of them have asthma. Thats why were in the car. Its cold outside. Reporter her family rushed outside when shay smelled the smoke. It was around 6 00 started worse, we called we called the cops and the ambulance came rushing and when they came like the fire was getting very, very dangerous, everyone was getting out, and the people who were living there little kids started crying.
