We have seen these emergency boxes and these blue lit fans for students to access during emergencies. What we have not is a Security Officer amidst heightened awareness after two female students say they were sexually assaulted and raped by the same college professor. One incident happened inside that building. Thats the house man hall. 27 year old you receive that ream is charged with rain and sexually battery, among other charges. That ream has been an adjunct professor at he was fired on thursday, one week after the accusations surfaced. He was terminated. Police say the attacks happened recent as two weeks ago. Ive been having issues with a lot of manassas stuff. I havent gotten any remails. And i didnt get an alert about that as well. I would want an alert about that. The fact that it was a teacher, i dont feel safe here really. What more do you think could be done by the school to keep students safe . Nighttime security and security in the parking lots. I never feel safe walking out into this parking lot. And that was devon vicary, one student who we interviewed who says at alert system on campus is down even though the School Administration says it sent an alert to students. They say both incidents happened on novas manassas campus. The first victim was reportedly raped in a Conference Room and classroom. That happened at the end of march and the bin month. The second victim was reportedly assaulted earlier this summer. The incidents were first reported to am contact pus police on may 5 by a third party there should be more assemblies and more sessions about that to inform the students and teachers about the stuff that happens. Now we did also ask the Schools Administration about the alert system being down. They said that they will look into it and they will get back to us. We had that conversation a few hours ago. I have not heard back just yet. Campus police say the day that they were notified about these incidents they immediately launched an investigation. A grand jury has indicted two special Police Officers in the death of a patient at med Washington Hospital center. Clifton montgomery and Charles Brown are charged with Involuntary Manslaughter in the death of 74 james mcbride. Mcbride died last fall after getting into a skull with the officers while trying to leavec the hospital still in his gown. The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide saying he died from a broken neck caused by blunt force trauma. The man drove his white truck right onto the National Mall, claimed to have a bucket full of anthrax. The Security Response shutdown streets and made this evenings rush hour a mess. Thats what sources are telling us. Police say that the man never made any threats and that he truly seems concerned that he had been exposed to anthrax. It was just before 3 00 when he drove his truck right up here on the National Mall. Streets. Well show you just how close this area is to the capital. Police spent hours out here today taking every precaution to make sure there was no real threats. The Emergency Response was a mess. Armored vehicles and police ready with guns drawn. At the center of it this man. We still dont know much about him, only that he drove his white pickup onto the National Mall and called Capital Police on the phone. He told them he was exposed to anthrax at a farm in virginia and that he brought a sample with him. The man never threatened anyone. He wanted to make Law Enforcement aware of what he thought was a threat to him and other people. Investigators tested the man and found no sign of anthrax. He was still taken into a decontamination tenth, stripped down and hosed down with water. Every First Responder who had contact with him had to do the same. Investigators were taking no an the mans truck and firefighters dawned gas masks as they sorted through everything in the vehicle. There were several personal items to include a blowup pool. Nothing dangerous, but the investigation still took hours and was just in time for rush hour. Can you tell me whats going on here . There was a man who drove his truck onto the mall and said he had anthrax. What . Drivers left in disbelief. Oh, my gosh. Tonight Us Park Police still have not identified the man who caused all the chaos today. We do know he was taken to a hospital for an evaluation. Police tonight are investigating whether two murders that happened within hours of each other are someone shot and killed Trayvon Cummings yesterday in an alley off benning road. Less than three blocks later someone killed Tracey Cooper as she walked towards her front door. Neighbors speculate she was killed in rel tool craig for killing cummings.
