and five-year-old son, plus her niece to bed. when they woke up, she was gone. valencia believes whoever took her daughter was someone unique knew and trusted. only her keys and cell phone, which hasn't been used were missing. >> my daughter doesn't have her glasses. i still have her glasses. she can't even see that far ahead of her without her glasses. >> dc police say it is an unusual missing persons case. they say nothing about unique or the case fits the profile of someone who would leave on purpose. she was devoted to her family and most importantly, her children. >> she has not had any contact with them since then. she wasn't suffering from any disabilities or illnesses at the time that you would normally connect with somebody who might be missing and she doesn't have a history of this. >> police and unique's family are hoping someone will come forward to help give them the answers they need. answers that will finally bring the young mother home. >> my grandchildren need to know where their mom is because they are hurting more than anybody. i'm not asking. i'm begging for you to bring my child back to her children and back to me and back to her family. >> valencia says her ten-year- old niece thought she heard voices, but her recollection has been vague. police say right now they have tho suspects or leads. brian. >> she is so young, it's hard to tell. are there any issues here? does the family think they know what happened? >> valencia says she believes unique's boyfriend knows more than he told police. she says the two were embroiled in a custody battle, a bitter one at that. he is currently caring for those two little boys. if you have any information about this case, dc police and the harris family really want to hear from you. brian. >> another high profile missing persons case has been solved. police are still trying to unravel the mystery of what happened to phylicia barnes. her body was found yesterday floating near the dam on the susquenhanna river. the 16-year-old was from north carolina visiting her sister's apartment in baltimore last december when she went missing. police confirm today the body they found belonged to barnes. now they want to know why she died. >> we're going to continue to work as hard now as we worked all those days since december 28. and our goal simply is to bring closure to phylicia barnes family. >> signs of injuries or wounds on barnes bode. also recovered the body of a man yesterday. it is unclear if there's a connection between the two. the news edge on dc now and tonight a metro station manager is under arrest. charged in connection with the death of a man in 2008. ronald taylor was fired after he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a taxi, killing a 55-year-old passenger. taylor was fired, but later reinstated as a station manager. he is now charged with operating a vehicle in a negligent manner. assessing blame and looking for payback. the finger pointing is back. days after water damaged restaurants. one group already filed a lawsuit to recoup money lost. ross is here with the latest. >> reporter: is this a $5 million class action lawsuit filed just yesterday on behalf of hourly earners because it could be weeks before they see another paycheck. most of the workers part of that lawsuit are restaurant workers, bartenders, servers, kitchen employees. they are accusing the harbor's management company of being negligent and causing them economic harm. the management company, mrp, is not responding to allegations it failed to raise the flood gates on the 18th. the flooding caused extensive damage. the waterfront restaurants are working around the clock to get cleaned up and reopened, but it could be weeks, leaving their employees temporarily out of a job. >> and all of a sudden they are finding themselves without a source of income. so it's not that a lawsuit is going to be able to recover them this money immediately, but i think it's one of the best hopes to recover the wages that they are losing during this time period. >> the management company says it is also working around the clock to get the harbor up and running. the watt ser gone, getting the power and gas on are the priorities and there's word that some power has been restored in the office complex and there are inspections scheduled for tomorrow morning. brian. >> i'm going to ask the question everybody else asked since day one and i know you asked it again today. do we know why those flood gates were not raised? >> we don't and neither do those business owners. there was a flood warning. for now, nobody is talking. >> we're going to keep asking the question. we'll get an answer one day. shot in the head. a woman recovering after she was grazed by a bullet while sleeping. gunfire erupted around midnight. the shots woke the woman up and she had blood dripping from her forehead. police are looking for the person responsible. and police are looking for the gun maven who opened fire in the district this afternoon. investigators say a suspect fired two shots at men. both men were hit. they are expected to recover. a brawl caught on tape on a metro car. laura evans is everywhere at 11:00. >> shows a man arguing with one woman and taking a swing at another woman next to her. that is when the punches started flying, the cops rushed in. it's unclear where and when this happened. but you can bet metro says they are investigating. bully-free dc. a rally on the steps of the wilson building today to support the bully act of 2011. schools and parks would have policies to vie rent bullying and procedures for investigating claims. next action on this, the public hearing on may 2. a virginia playground up in flames. it destroyed the play area outside of stone bridge high school in ashburn around 6:30 last night. firefighters tried to save it, but they couldn't. they are asking anyone who has information about what happened to following breaking news out of the district. dc police released this photo of the teenager who escaped from the new beginnings youth developmental center on monday. the teen is trevon carrie, 18 years old. carey broke out of the youth facility after assaulting a correctional officer and beating him viciously. they are asking anyone who knows where he is right now to give them a call. even in this depressed housing market, a home in northern virginia is up for sale may get a couple extra looks. former fbi agent turned spy robert hansen once lived. it does not mention he once lived there. the home went on the market a couple weeks ago. the asking price is $750,000. spying for the soviet union and russia. cyber attacks aimed at critical infrastructure are on the rise. as are companies and governments that are trying to prepare for these attacks. fox's jennifer davis has some answers from a new study. >> reporter: the computer systems that run power grids, water treatment plants, and oil and gas facilities all have one thing in common. they face a serious and growing cyber attack threat according to a new global survey. >> i think what you are seeing now is a wider range of sophisticated attacks. all this is a warning that we cannot afford to ignore. >> the study released by mcafee interviewed 200it security professionals in 14 countries. their warning, cyber attacks are up significantly all around the globe. well in individual country's ability to attack and defeat the hackers is declining. 80% of those surveyed said they have faced an attack intended to knock out service and they were hit weekly or even daily. >> while we become better at handling more complex situations, the real question is, are we doing enough fast enough and i would be one that would be more aggressive in that arena. >> the report says while critical infrastructure industries are at risk, threats come from a variety of bad guys. >> sometimes you have nations that want to steal property and of course there is always the risk that a nation state would want to have the came ability to disrupt or destroy our systems. >> 30% of those surveyed said their company is prepared for a cyber attack, but 40% said they do expect a major cyber attack within one year. jennifer davis, fox news. >> homes in pieces, debris scattered everywhere. but among the storm devastation, a woman got temperatures are going to be taking a little bit of a tumble. here's a number that has not seen tumbling. it is the pollen count. i want you to see this. second highest of the season with over 2,177 grains. grasses and molds are low. one thing that helped get rid of this is rain. if you can't get to true view, it's okay. wow. thank you very much. i wanted you to see. he's the rain. that will be moving in our direction. it will take a little while, but tomorrow morning high pressure building off the expose then that kind of brings in sort of an east and moisture flow of air for us. that will happen. that's why we will have the chill and when the showers get here, they will be copious. it will be a chilly day and the rain will hold off until the afternoon as we go back over to the weather map. so with that in mind, let me tell you about easter as we jump forward a couple days because it does look as though it will be warm. that's the good news. it looks like there's a chance for showers and everything for easter depends on whether or not a front is going to come slipping down floret. some models don't think that will happen. some think it will. the possibility is out there. it is only thursday. we'll keep a close eye on that forecast. perhaps it will clear up, dry up. sunrise will be at 6:20 and that part is not going to change. here's your future cast. chilly tonight, but you can see we have clear skies. by noon, the clouds are here. the rain is still holding off. as we run this, by 4:00, 5:00 in the afternoon, the rain is in here. so it's going to keep on coming. we go into 11:00, we have our chilly rain falling. this may end up being a half inch around the region. we get to saturday morning and it's a little bit better. showers may try to push out. there's a warm front that will come through and our temperature will go into the low 70s. there could be a back edge of showers that we'll have to deal with on saturday evening. perhaps we have another round to go and then this is what we are talking about for easter. we'll have a frontal system up to our north and west. it may stall out up there and the warm stuff and be dry. but if it does decide to keep moving, we'll have showers in the forecast and that needs to be cleared up. clearly our future cast thinks there will be a few showers around on sunday, but the best chance would be later in the day. it has fallen to 39 degrees t. will be a cold night and there could be frost in our northern and western suburbs. five-day forecast, 55 degrees for us tomorrow. we do warm up for the weekend. but we will have to dodge a few showers as we just showed you. monday a few showers as well. in' tuesday, sticking with that 80-degree reading. there may be some really warm days in the future of one of our vacancy at miami and two published reports are saying he told his team he is leaving. fox 5 has yet to confirm that. we do know he coached at mason for 14 years. he guided his team to the 2006 final four when the patriots were just an 11 seed and this year george mason beat villanova in the first round before losing to number one overall ohio state. he is 61, three years ago he flirted with leaving for providence. there's an opening because frank left miami to become the head coach at missouri. the washington capitals are one win away from winning their first playoff series in two years. it happened against these very rangers in 2009. and it went seven games. a scenario that this year's team hopes to avoid. after tieing the game with three third period goals, the caps got lucky in the
