Mohammed is a university of maryland student it all unfoldeded when he walked in the gym and heard a man collapsed while exercisingen he used his medical training and sprang into action. I checked pulse and didnt feel anything and i didnt notice that he was breathing so i rolled him over and i just started doing compressions because thats something i remembered from medical school. Mohammed compressions ten minutes until he felt a pulse. Staff at the gym and lifeguard helped and mohammed helped with cpr and the man started breathing again. He is now out of the hospital. Hes going to school for opthalmology. So even every little bit of that training helped out and hell help him pick out new xhas glasses. He was at the right place in the right time. And thats a lot of os s offer free cpr training. Its not a bad thing to know. I took it 20 years ago i would be terrified again. He saved that guys life. I bet it would click in.
