overnight. it was going to be an assembly room and homeless shelter but no one got a permit. police moved in. the bar like building went up overnight. demonstrators say they had architects and engineers draw up plans. >> we built it and there's a lot of people who are cold. going to have this be green technology way of keeping people warm. it was also going to be used for our general aassembly we have every day. >> reporter: police say they didn't have a permit and police say it had to come down. protestors ignored the 11:45 a.m. deadline to remove the structure. [yelling] >> reporter: some sat inside it. others went up on the roof, refusing to go. the police started arresting them. a city building inspector declared the structure unsafe after 5:00. and police issued more warnings for the 6 holdouts on the roof to come down. an armored vehicle arrived along with a giant air bag and a cherry picker. after some coaxing, two jumped into the air bag. it took an officer in a cherry picker to harness up the last four occupiers and get them off the roof. >> building a building near a municipality, there are concerns. >> reporter: the crowd said it focused necessary attention on their causes. >> i think this is part of our message. our message is people need houses, they need to be taken care of. we came out with a declaration that states what we are here about and i think that if that gets coverage along with this, it's what we're looking for. >> reporter: now, u.s. park police tell us 31 people in all were arrested here today. after the last protestor was safely removed from that structure, it was bulldozed. we'll have those pictures coming up at 10:30. maureen? keep an eye on. it's keeping a lot of cold air behind it across the west. you can see here even shaded in the blue, that's the coolness. single digits and teens as well. we are going to see a little bit of the colder air behind that system. but won't push it until later in the week with the cooler air. we're going to benefit nicely ahead of it into the course of the next day or so, as we start to see a southerly wind and a lot of moisture that will build up from the south. here's a look at what's happening. clouds rolling in across the area. but the rain with that system, we've got quite a stretch of it from the deep south, pushing across areas to the east of the upper great lakes here. we'll see this gradually push its way across the area the next 24 to 48 hours. ahead of it, the rain will start to develop. that's what we'll see move in into the overnight hours monday. i'm looking at a little bit of patchy fog in the forecast in the skies tonight lingering through to the early hours of tomorrow is possible. now most of the fog is over delmarlboro. could stretch to the east early in the morning. wet weather into monday and overnight into tuesday. tomorrow, cloudy skies and mild. 59degrees by midday. that's not too bad. as we head through into tonight, overnight lows around 44 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. tomorrow's high around 61 degrees with the light wind. five-day forecast showing you wet weather in the forecast as well for tuesday. little bit wednesday night and thursday as a low pressure system develops along that front. that front will move to the south across the virginia/north carolina border and we'll see a low pressure system move towards us. might see more rain to the south of us by wednesday or thursday. i can't take it out of the investigators say they may have found a third victim of the recent craigslist killings. authorities identified a man found in a shallow grave last week in the same area another body was found last month. friends said he had a lead on a job. >> he had told us, not just me, but jim and them about this job he had found, you know, off craigslist. it was being a farm hand on a big farm. he got a trailer, two bedroom trailer, and they'd pay him $300 a week. he was all excited about this, because that meant he could start getting himself on his feet again. >> two suspects in the custody are in the akron area. a high school student charged with attempted murder, and 52- year-old richard beasley. 85-year-old woman says she was humiliated at the hands of tsa agents at jfk airport after being strip searched. the tsa is telling a different story. here's that story tonight. >> took me into a private room and strip searched me. >> reporter: she headed to new york's jfk airport this week to catch a jetblue flight to fort lauderdale, florida. breezing through security in a wheelchair, she asked to be patted down instead of going through a body scanner. she said she was worried about the scanner interfering with her defibrillator. that required agents to take a closer look. >> i weigh 103 pounds. i'll be 85 february 1st. so i'm your typical terrorist, right? >> reporter: led to a private screening room, what comes next is something she calls "mortifying." >> she says, will you pull your pants down, please? and she pulled my underwear down and searched me. >> reporter: she hurt her shin during the ordeal. she's back in florida, bandaged and humiliated. >> i couldn't picture such a thing. >> reporter: the tsa released a statement saying in part -- >> that's despicable. >> reporter: private screenings are retune, but never recorded. she says she plans to sue the tsa. >> mortified. i mean, outraged. angry. >> reporter: zimmerman plans to settle back into her snow bird life in florida, and won't be back to long beach, new york, until april. until then, she says she's "avoiding airports." heather childers, fox news. school bus driverrer arrested for being drunk behind the wheels. athletes and the coach say the woman was swerving on the road yesterday morning going to an event. she tried to drive back to the school until police stopped her. blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. >> got to be a monitoring system. before they let that bus driverrer pull away with a bus full of kids. >> the driver is on unpaid leave and may be fired. parents and students in rockland county new york are calling one teacher scrooge. >> some said she ruined christmas for a classroom full of second graders. >> i think it's terrible. i don't think she has any right to say something like that. >> reporter: some of the parents at george miller elementary school say one of the teachers here is a real scrooge. they say she told her second grade class that santa claus isn't real. >> it's sad that children that young would already not have that magical belief that's so fun at christmas time. >> i think it was upsetting. >> reporter: we're told she was teaching geography class when a 7-year-old said they knew about the north pole, because that's where santa claus lived. the teacher then told them that there is no santa and that it's their parents who buy them presents. >> what went through your head? >> i don't want to send my kids to public school. >> not too pleased with that. >> i did read as a follow-up, the teacher called every parent of the children in that class and apologized. one farmer is giving injured vets a chance at a future. >> and it's breathing new life into farming. big changes coming to a post office near you. the troubled agency's plan to save $3 billion. thousands of american soldiers return from iraq and afghanistan, and they're finding a new battle at home fighting for a job. a program is helping them become the next generation of farmers. >> reporter: tucked away on a hill side north of san diego, troops are preparing for civilian life. >> we're trained to squeeze the trigger, but we're also trained to be good leaders. >> reporter: he saw this as a golden opportunity. >> what we're trying to do here is take those leaderships, work ethic skills, match it with a job skill,. >> reporter: he and his wife founded the vsap to teach troops everything about farming and the business behind it. >> now i'm hearing in this particular course the lingo of the farming industry as well as business planning. >> reporter: why this industry in the department of agriculture estimates that half of all american farmers will retire in the next 10 years, leaving jobs wide open. >> for me, it's like a moment in history, and it's like, i don't know, it's absolutely amazing. >> reporter: mike haynes is one of the success stories. upon his graduation, he created his own super food product line, including this hot sauce that's now being sold in a national grocery store chain. >> never, ever would have thought this would have happened. so to see that on the shelves the first day today kind of really took me back a couple of steps, wow, it's happening. >> reporter: camp pendleton, the marine base here in southern california, is just in the background and essentially borders this farm. the transition assistance program there approved the curriculum of the program. there's lots of financial aid available to help these troops. casey stegall, fox news. the news tonight is far from over. >>
