money. albert did not assault this man, and looks forward to his day in court to refute these ridiculous allegations." albert hainsworth signed a seven-year contract with the redskins in 2009 for $100 million. so far, he has played in only 20 games. and was suspended for several toward the end of last season. while searching court records, fox 5 found a speeding ticket issued to hainsworth on january 4th of this year for driving 64 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. he is due in court on that charge march 11. despite searching court records and numerous databases today, we were unable to find joel valesquez. fairfax county police did not release his name and nothing has been filed in court. as far as we can tell, only espn has spoken to this man. police would only say the man accusing hainsworth was a 38-year-old man who was driving a 1994 honda civic. >> now, paul, albert hainsworth has had a number of other traffic issues in the past, you mentioned his speeding ticket. but one of them was serious. >> reporter: he was charged and cleared of a road rage incident while he was a member of the tennessee titans in 2006. two years later he pleaded guilty in tennessee to speeding 103 miles an hour in a 70 mile per hour zone. four days after that plea hainsworth allegedly swerveded across two lines while driving a ferarri, slamming it into other car. the driver sustained injuries and is civil suit is pending. hainsworth pled guilty in tennessee to reckless driving charge just after signing with the redskins. >> paul wagner, thank you. . we have a fox 5 news alert. a super bowl official says five people have been hurt by ice falling off of cowboy stadium and one of them hurt critically this is video of large chunks of ice of snow sliding off the stadium earlier today. officials are not saying who the injured people are or why they were at the stadium. most of the stadium entrances have been closed because of the falling snow and ice. meantime, that same storm that dropped snow in texas is headed our way. driving conditions in texas is treacherous. the good news is we aren't expecting anything like this but what will this system bring our way? gary mcgrady is here with a quick check on the weekend forecast. >> you have to feel for them. they have no idea what to do with 4 to 6 inches of snow, it's been snowing on and off most of the afternoon. you look at the system in trueview, big slug of rain down to the south of us, a lot of that heads off to sea. we're going to get rain, which by the way, look back out to the west, you still see snow, again for oklahoma and arkansas. this is the second time in a week. they don't know what's going on there. here's what's happening for us. we do have technically a freezing rain advisory that's been issued. this is for 1 a.m. to 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. it does not, i repeat, it does not include the district or fairfax or prince george's counties. those typical counties, montgomery, i know that gets split down the middle but that's how they code it in the national weather service, we here in carroll county and back up to baltimore, it looks like there's the potential for a little bit of slippery weather tomorrow morning. there could be a little bit of glazing, but we feel like by tomorrow in the afternoon, everybody is rain and temperatures are up above freezing. we'll detail this for you coming up in the complete forecast in just a little bit. >> gary, thanks. . the world, including washington, continuing to monitor the developing situation in egypt tonight. nearly 100,000 protesters took to the streets in cairo today marking the 11th day of unrest. egyptians vowing to press on until they see an end to president hosni mubarak's 30 year reign. the white house may be moving to speed up the departure of the egyptian president. president obama spoke just moments ago and had strong words about the violence over the past two days in egypt. tom fitzgerald has been following the latest today on this issue. so what is the administration doing to get mubarak to step down. >> reporter: the white house has made no secret they're in contact with the top general of the egyptian army but what is not known is what those conversations were about. tonight the new york times is reporting that the obama administration has been reaching out to the vice-president should mubarak step down right away. mubarak says he'll stay on to september, saying he's concerned that the country would plunge into more disorder if he left now. in washington today, president obama called on political reforms in egypt to start now and condemned the resent violence against demonstrators and journalists. >> we are sending a strong and unequivocal message, attacks on reporters are unacceptable. attacks on human rights activists are unacceptable. attacks on peaceful protesters are unacceptable. the egyptian government has a responsibility to protect the rights of its people. >> reporter: the military front, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff appeared on the daily show last night. conversations he'd had with the egyptian military saying the egyptian military has no intention of firing on its own people. hundreds of protesters right here in the district are making their voices heard tonight and fox 5 tisha thompson has that part of the story live on capitol hill with the story there. >> reporter: 300 protesters have arrived here at capitol hill. it has been a march from the white house. this is largely the same group of people who have been coming out every day, all week. we first ran into them on saturday when they were in front of the u.s. embassy and on sunday they came out to the white house. we ran into one woman there who we have been following all week. she's 19-year-old student, here from egypt studying and even though she's gone to school this week she's come out to protest every single day. she's lost her voice but she says she has more of an education than she's ever received in school. >> the white house is great because the president is symbolic of the government br where is the committee that sends the aid? it's in the capitol. that's why i'm going there. [ protesters ]. >> reporter: so they have ... they have started their march, as i said. they came from the white house at about 4:00. they arrived here about 5 minutes ago. they are slowly making their way past the capitol, and as you heard, they said they're coming here because this is where the money is. we're going to go catch up with them after we talk to you here and see what the plans are for the rest of the weekend. laura. >> all right. >> tisha, thanks. a junior at georgetown university was evacuated from cairo as the protests began. richard thanks for joining us. >> thank you. >> you were with a group of georgetown students. you were over there studying business. at the point you were evacuated, what did you see, what did you hear, where were you in relationship to what we see every day on tahir square in. >> we were 10 or 15 minutes away from what was going on in tahir. as we were evacuated, we were headed towards tahir and they had to take us around it. >> tell me what it was like at first when those protests were going on. you guys were watching this somewhat from a distance because you were never down in the midst of everything. >> no. some students wanted to go and i was trying to remind people that protesters don't have sidelines. so we were watching from the top of buildings, watching cars being burned out, watching protesters and police get in altertations. >> was it scary? >> the scariest part was the uncertainty because we didn't know what would happen next. we didn't know how long we would be there. we didn't know anything. >> at a certain point a lot of the protests were organized through social media like facebook and twitter and the government shut down the access to the internet and everything. were you there when that happened? >> we had no internet, no cell phone service, and it was hard to communicate, especially with people at home, i think for us students that was the hardest part. >> what was it like for your family back here at home? i mean, i'm sure you've talked to them about everything. >> yes. of course my mom was worried because that's who she is. >> absolutely. were you concerned because you couldn't reach out to people here at home? >> yeah. i wanted to let people know i was safe. i felt safe most of the time, especially at the beginning, because they weren't protesting against me. but i felt like i was sort of caught in the cross fire. >> and you guys, george town put together an a plane to get you out of there. what was the airport like? >> it's the crowd of people pushing through passport control, lots of different national its, people yelling at each other in different languages because everybody wanted to get out. >> panic? >> there were no lines so people were cutting people off. it was -- >> just briefly, as you watch everything going on right now and you have seen the violence escalate, what goes through your mind? >> i'm glad i'm safe. i hope that things calm down for the people in egypt and i hope that the focus stays on them and they get what they need. >> all right. richard renaldi, thank you. >> thank you. a legend in the district. one of the first tuskeegee cadets to fly in the military, we have his tribute coming up next. the nightmare commute on 395 is about to get worse. we have an update on changes being made to ease the crush the drivers. and tragedy on a local horse farm. a champion horse is shot and killed. . charles flowers had a dream to fly and he did just that. not an easy task for an african american man in the 1940s but he beat the odds. today one of the first tuskeegee cadets was laid to rest. he was remembered for his historic past, in more recent years he's had a big impact on young people. matt ackland has more from prince george's county now. >> reporter: it was the early 1940s. the united states was fighting in world war ii when a young charles flowers enrolled in the army with dreams of flying and fighting for his country. he had heard about a new program in tuskeegee, alabama, one that would train african americans to be pilots. a year later, flowers not only knew how to fly he was training others who are now known as the tuskeegee airmen. many of them attended his funeral today all wearing their signature red jackets. >> i entered the program in 1944. >> reporter: flowers never saw combat but the men he trained sure d they flew some of the most dangerous missions. william broadwater became an airman and trained to have a bomber pilot. he was in awe of flowers and the original airman. >> when we saw these young men who were our instructors we were in awe. this is introduction to flying, they were our god fathers. >> reporter: charles flowers lived here in prince george's's county. many people knew him as a living legend. that's way in 1990 when prince george's county was looking for a name to put on its newest high school, charles flowers seemed perfect. >> when this school was opened, god knew what he had planned, that mr. flowers would be able to touch thousands and thousands and thousands of children. >> flowers never bragged about his notoriety. >> very humble. i didn't know about all this until i read it in the paper. >> reporter: it is what he did after his service in the army that most of his family and friends spoke today about. a mentor to young people and a friend who wanted others to experience the joy of flight. >> i was entertained with him, and he said okay [ inaudible ] and there was a lot of hesitation out there. okay. [ laughter ]. >> and after we flew around there for a while and he said now i want to see that you can land this plane. and without any hesitation i says, no way! [ laughter ]. >> reporter: there were definitely a lot of laughs. it was a celebration of life and a lot of people were really there just to honor such a great man. >> tell us more about what he did after his service in tuskeegee. >> reporter: after he was an instructor, his family said today that he believed in education, so what he did is he went back to college, got his degree, came here to our area, worked here for 40 years for nasa at goddard space flight center. he retired and then he dedicated his life to mentoring young people. so it was a full, wonderful, accomplished life. >> very inspiring. >> reporter: yeah, i wish i would have met him. everyone said he was very humble and you would never have known he was such a historic figure, that he did so much. >> lucky you for getting to go to that event. >> reporter: yes. tracking the gunman who shot a horse on maryland farm last month, he was shot weeks before he was named the horse of the year. doctors had to put him down because the injuries were so severe. the 8-year-old horse won three national champion titles and one world champion title. . not a bad day out there today. >> no, not at all. >> need to brace for some bad weather to come over the weekend to come? >> let's start tonight. >> okay. >> what can we expect tonight? >> we do expect some slippery spots and freezing rain. let's go to the big picture. a lot of rain down to the south of us. part of that texas system that brought all the snow but not the snow. we have cold air in place so just enough early tomorrow morning when some of this light rain comes across could cause a few slippery spots. there's what it looks like right now, the batch to the south of us. that's not going to make it here. clouds at 9:00 and flitting in just a chance of a light shower to the south. fredericksburg i'm talking to you with this. but temperatures will be well above freezing there, fredericksburg you have no concern with slippery spots tomorrow. we'll get in to where it may be slippery and where it won't coming up in the forecast and then we talk beyond. a lot coming up in the next several days. >> gary, thank you. drivers may have to pay more at some of maryland's bussiers toll booths. it is likely there will be an increase of 75 cents and that's for the chesapeake bay bridge and for the fort mchenry tunnel. there has not been a toll increase since 2003. the commute on 295 is going to get worse before it gets better thanks to a requirement closure law requiring workers to be relocated. the new officer building in alexandria is miles away from the metro stop and politicians are trying to figure out how to cope with this new traffic on an already bad roadway. >> reporter: how bad is rush hour traffic on interstate 395? >> horrendous. especially in the morning. >> yeah. very bad. especially after four. >> i don't do rush hour. i wait a little bit later. >> meaning why not? >> because, because it's a parking lot. >> reporter: well, traffic on 395 is likely to get worse when the defense department opens its new office building in alexandria. >> it was a terribly wrong decision for secretary rumsfeld to decide to move 20,000 office workers out of rozland and crystal city and alexandria, two places that did not have access to public transit. >> reporter: jim moran and jim webb got a 90 minute briefing from army brass for the office building that will host 6,400 d.o.d. workers. some steps are being taken to mitigate traffic. a bus transit center out of the site just this week v dot announced that new exits from the h.o.v. lanes on i-395 will be constructed here at seminary road. and alexandria installed lane dividers. congressman moran got legislation to keep most of the new parking garages here closed to force the new workers to take buses but the bill never made it through the senate. and jim webb will try the same tactic in the senate. >> i got a commitment that we would get a look at this early in this session. >> reporter: unless webb and moran succeed, workers and traffic will start coming to this huge building along i-395 this september. in alexandria, john hanrahan, fox 5 news. terrifying moments on a greyhound bus after a hijacking and a local man was behind it say police. planned parenthood under attack. more video surfacing including one shot here in in our backyard. . tonight planned parenthood is firing back at an antiabortion group after it released potentially scathing undercover video. live action released more footage showing a worker talking with a man posing as a pimp. she offered to be -- she appears to be offering to cover up a sex ring so his prostitutes could then receive health services. listen to part of their conversation here. >> and here you said they can get the birth control here still and they can get the testing here as well, but you said for the abortion, they would need. >> abortion photo i.d. >> photo i.d. >> and minors they would need parental consent. >> planned parenthood said "planned parenthood federation of america notified the u.s. attorney general about these visits and other visits to planned parenthood health centers and has been working with the f.b.i. on the investigation into this encounters. planned parenthood affiliates in virginia also alerted authorities." a man turned himself in to police today, thomas wilson surrendered wednesday. he was acoosed of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old student. he is charged with sexual abuse of a minor. this arlington man is charged with hijacking that greyhound bus heading to raleigh, north carolina. he pulled a began last night, demanded the driver let him take the wheel, a passenger called 911. the driver pulled into a gas station. officers surrounded the bus for an hour north of raleigh. eventually they shot him with a stun gun and arrested him. none of the 35 passengers on board were hurt. the super bowl may be the big game this week, but everyone in town is talking about dan snyder and his lawsuit against the washington city paper. today, he broke his silence. what the redskins owner has to say next. and super bowl fever is spreading. bob? >> not really. >> what about football? >> i'm going packers all the way. packers all the way. >>close my mouth. >> talk about the weather. >> i'm packers by 14. that's what i hope. >> dream on. talk about the weather. >> that's what it's all about. you think so, you think so. see you on monday. we'll see. >> all right, gary. >> please, packers win. please, packers win! >> i'm kind of like bob earlier, he said i don't have a dog in this fight. i don't have one either but i sure want the packers to win. here's temperatures out there. i want the freezing rain to stay north tomorrow, too. 39 degrees here in the city right now. gaithersburg 37. we did manage up into the lower 40s today. and we've had a lot of cloud cover from basically the district down to the south. 44 right now for fredericksburg, culpepper 43. temperatures tonight in some places will get down to 32, if not a little bit below that. we'll talk in just a second. mostly clouds at 7:00. clouds at nine. cool, not extremely cold, and the winds will be light. a shower to the south by 11:00. it will start coming up really for everybody after midnight. now, it doesn't look like a lot of rain tonight. it looks like just a little bit of rain tonight. sometimes that can be worse. i mean, a little bit of a coating where temperatures are 32 and below, you get a heavier rain sometimes it doesn't coat so much. so we could get a little slippery tomorrow morning. listen, here's the freezing rain advisory. this goes from 1:00 until 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. not for the district, not for fairfax or prince william or prince george's or anne arundle for that matter. to the north and west, montgomery, loudoun county, howard county, frederick county, carroll county, and then right back out to the west where everybody along i-81. we don't think this is going to be a huge deal. we're not expecting a lot of ice. again, it does not take much to cause problems out there in the morning on those untreated surfaces. the driveways and the sidewalks, don't forget about that. let's skip through that. i didn't intend for that to be there so we will blow through that. satellite and radar, we have had cloudy skies. we had high pressure in place, it tried to displace the cloud cover but didn't do that good job. notice the rain to the south of us. it will take several hours to get that up in here and even if we get a shower or two, the air is so dry it doesn't look like a huge deal. there is where it was a huge deal. northeast texas, dallas, 4 to 6 inches of snow. houston escaped the snow but they did have snow for parts of san antonio, austin, and down through central texas as well. that's moved out now. more snow in oklahoma and arkansas. here is the driver, area of low pressure a lot of moisture coming in. a lot of moisture, you can see it down to the south of us, too. a lot of rain through the deep south. that will stay to the south and east of us. clouds are, of course, we're going to have this light rain arrive overnight tonight. freezing rain possible, just a little bit, north and west. here in the city, 33. but again, north and west. suburbs will be down to freezing if not a little bit below. we could have some still freezing rain at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning. just showers i think at noon. most everybody warms up. and then a few lingering showers at 35:00. tonight at 1 a.m., height rain trying to come across. this is tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. most of us just rain. that's the green. yo pockets up ahong northern maryland, pennsylvania, where it's pink here? that's the possibility of some freezing rain. higher elevations there, back out to the west of us, too, and then by 5:00 everybody is rain. except may be lingering washington county back out towards cumberland, still a little bit of a freezing rain possibility there. it gets out of here. not too bad on sunday with warmer temperatures and some sunshine. the five-day forecast, monday, tuesday, and wednesday, it's just kind of hodgepodge right now. it's going to get cold after monday. going to get real cold. tuesday, wednesday, and then we're talking about what's that storm going to do on thursday, friday, wednesday, thursday, friday we're looking at an east coast storm system. >> a year ago we were preparing for snowmageddon. >> it seems like yesterday. >> yes. it's right here in my mind. >> thanks, gary. to the talk to the town on tmz, video has surfaced showing charlie sheen at the beginning of his alleged 36 hour party binge last week. harvey is here with us. does this video show? >> reporter: it shot at the beginning of the binge. he brought some of his girlfriends along for the ride, and you see him dancing, having a great time. but the weird thing is you see his teeth as well and there are gold caps in his teeth. it's bizarre. it's almost little wayne like. the gold goes all the way in the back apparently. but it looks bizarre and you'll see it closer on the television show tonight. i wasn't expecting it. >> oh, my goodness. okay, so what is the fallout? >> reporter: some usual suspects return to see if they can continue to dazzle the crowd all looking to be monday's water cooler conversation. coke, and audi made the cut, while pepsi and doritos had an amateur competition with ten finalists hoping their commercial is picked as the winner, winning a cool million as well. there will be plenty of blockbuster movie ads to whet your interest, including wrangle, cowboys and aliens, pirates of the caribbean, captain america, and rio. fox tv will be premiering new shows including terra nova and simon cowell's x factor. 100 million viewers, can everyone be a winner?
