Whats your take . I think she was over the line. She got involved in Fact Checking as throwing the flag and saying obama was right and romney was wrong. First of all, i think she was wrong on the facts. Secondly, i dont think thats the role of a moderator to weigh in and say somebody is right and wrong. Let them fact check each other. She can ask questions and move them along, but shouldnt say, youre right, youre wrong. There will be a lot more time in this debate tomorrow to clarify their stance on the libya issue. Youre going to try to get into the time line of events this morning, right . Well have our own debate. Well have two of the top Foreign Policy and National Experts in. And iran have agreed reportedly in principle about iran this would be a big deal if we did oneonone talks and well be asking the two senators about that. Right. The other part of your show today youll be talking about the polls and im happy to see this, because i dont know if its just me or if a lot of other people are confused by the polling. Three polls showing obama is up, and gallup over the weekend showing now at a plus six. Ton of buzz. Im glad youll be talking to Frank Newport this morning. Yeah, we are. At one point it showed mitt romney with a 7point age, now a 6point edge. 51 to 54. That still is way outside the clear politics which averages the polls shows obama with a lead of onetenth of one point. A 6point edge is really out of line and were going to talk to him. Is he right and everybody else wrong or are they off on an island by themselves . Chris, i look to you to straighten things out for me. Well try. Thanks again for your time this morning. The skins take on the giants this afternoon, and in the spirit of tomorrows third and final president ial debate, we bring you the off the wall debate. The players, wisdom martin, dave ross, and guest moderator, tony perkins. Hello, everybody. Welcome to this special 2012 election edition of off the wall. We have a debate planned for you, want to present the two candidates representing the burgandy party, dave ross, sportscaster extraordinaire. And wisdom martin, anchor extraordinaire. Mr. Ross, you have won the coin toss. We will start with you. The question for this debate is about Robert Griffin iii. Should he run or not run, specifically should running plays be designed for him . Mr. Ross . First, id like to thank tony perkins, fox 5 for giving me this opportunity to speak to you on this Beautiful Day in washington, d. C. If i were married, maybe today would have been my anniversary. I dont believe Robert Griffin iii should be held back. Because this offense has lacked productivity under the shanahan era for years. Not months, weeks, for years. And this guy is the most dynamic play maker they have ever had. Let me be clear about this, he is the most dynamic play maker weve ever seen in washington, d. C. I say let him run. You saw what happened last sunday with the two touchdown runs. Without rg3, without designed runs, this offense does not click. Its what makes this offense go. Let rg3 be rg3. Thank you for the time. Thank you, mr. Ross. Mr. Martin . Thank you very much, mr. Perkins. Let me be perfectly clear about a couple of Different Things that my opponent has just stated. We both agree the redskins are a better team with rg3 out there on the field. I just said that. We both agree. Thank you for interrupting me and taking away some of my time. Rg3 is the franchise and that the more he runs, the more he is at risk for getting hurt. Without him on the field, the redskins have no shot. Weve seen him pass the ball. The only way to stimulate the economy is to keep him on the field. Only way to stimulate his economy is keep him on the field. All quarterbacks get hit. They get hit in the back field. They get hit when theyre running. These option plays where he has to run and keep the ball and decide where they get to take the free shots on him, theyre not appropriate. Theyre not fiscally responsible. I think youre going over your time. I did have more time until you just took two seconds from me to interrupt me again. Thank you for that. Mr. Ross, you have time to respond. I do. Id like to ask where my opponent is from. Are you from the washington, d. C. Area . I really dont see the relevance in asking that. If you were a long suffering washingtonian, you could know, sir, that this guy makes all the difference in the word. You want to take away the one thing that makes washington, d. C. Proud now and excited now . Its rg3s legs. Youre wrong. I stand before the American Public today youre wrong. And tell you let rg3 run. Ross is wrong. I never said anything about taking away rg3. You misrepresent the facts again. If im not mistaken, you just want him to throw. Isnt that his job . Yes. Isnt that what a quarterback is defined at. We could both get injured tomorrow when we walk down the street. I dont see the relevance in telling rg3 to take a step back. Gentlemen, no one ever said anything about taking a step back. Were talking here and now gentlemen, may i step in now . We think we have your views on this point. We do thank you for the time. Were out of time for this particular debate. Mr. Ross, mr. Martin, shake hands. Well see you again for a forthcoming debate in the future. Did you see that, people . Our next debate will be on the strasburg question, should he have been shut down . The National League championship series conditions tonight here on fox 5 continues tonight here on fox 5 news at 7 00 p. M. Coming up when we return, another check of the weather, and why some dogs are getting into the halloween spirit. Its all for a good reason. Well tell you when we come back. [ male announcer ] if barack obama is reelected, what will the next four years be like . One the debt will grow from 16 trillion to 20 trillion. Two 20 million americans could lose their employerbased health care. Three taxes on the middle class will go up by 4,000. Four Energy Prices will continue to go up. And five 716 billion in medicare cuts that hurt current seniors. Five reasons we cant afford four more years of barack obama. Im mitt romney and i approve this message. We all know pet owners love Halloween Costumes and some of our four legged friends are getting in on the spirit. These dogs took part in a costume contest in an Animal Shelter in alabama. Its a showcase, look at that one, of the dogs that need a loving home. Several dogs were adopted after last years event. Again, this is always a good cause, because if you can dress them up and make them cuter, who can resist . Who wouldnt want to take home a dog that loves a costume . Exactly. We want our animals to get great home. That was cool, the hot dog. Funny. Heres what you can expect over the next couple of days. Drum roll, sunshine, and temperatures on the rise. Today were going to be into the 60s. As we progress into the course of the week, the temperatures will be on the rise. By wednesday, almost near 80. We love it. Thank you, gwen and thank you
