Good morning to you. Good morning, he annie, good to be here i got to say this is one of those topics that a lot of people just want to avoid or dont want to, you know, talk about. But its important. Its very important, and Digital Asset planning in our digital existence is really much of our existence is in the online world, we transed from a paper world to a Digital World and so many of our assets and existence is online so its important to deal with lets start there. You make this transition, what are some of the biggest mistakes that you see people making . A lot of the mistakes is really he want campused around doing things the way we used to do them. So for example, doing a state planning on paper. That worked a generation ago. Or believing that a lot of your assets are going to be passed on to the next generation. For example, the average person has 90 different logins today, credentialed accounts where you have to log in. Things like our Bank Accounts are credentialed accounts. We dont necessarily know where those assets are. We get statements in the mail. We dont get those today. So very different world that we exist in today. And doing things the way we u to do them, no longer works. Those credential accounts end up getting lost today. Theres no hope, are you saying . Couldnt you just go to the brick and mortar bank and fix it that way . No, theres absolute hope. Its doing things in a different way what are those ways . Making sure that you get a full list of all of your assets, where they are, where your credentialed accounts are, then making sure that you appropriately set up the right people to get access to those at the right time. Incapacity, disability and today, when youre wanting to make sure that people have access to those assets. On a screen there, we saw some of the dos that we should follow. We can put that back up there. One of them was choosing the person, a backup person, having a plan in place. Where does one start . Is that pretty much where you should start i think starting out with having a list of your assets, a list of all of your credentialed accounts is the right place, then creating a people that you want to have access to those. Then creating backups to those individuals as well. Thats the right place to start. What are some other things here . We got take an inventory of all online and valuables, so can you mention some of the things we should be taking in . Absolutely. So we have Bank Accounts. And Bank Accounts today, we used to receive statements in the mail. We no longer receive statements in the mail. Retirement i still do. I still do. I wont let it go. Very few people and Financial Institution todays are pushing us more and more online. And really, when you start think about the transitions that have happened in just one generation, whats going to happen in one more generation . And the existence of our ourselves online, its dramatically changing. Is this something that one could do on they are own or do we have to come see and a expert . Is there a tool we can use going by yourself and on your own is difficult to do. Certainly weve created a tool to be able to do that. At legacy.
