During the most recent round of Water Testing elevated levels of lead were discovered 17 sources and total of 12 d. C. Schools and 3700 tests in all but d. C. S. Records are not complete and some say schools were never notified. We were testing and taking action. We were not reporting it. And we needed to do that. I apologize for that. That has been something we had focused o what im focusing on is how do we never do this again. And an apology for making that failure and causing panic and scare that some parents feeling about this. The city has been Testing SchoolDrinking Water for lead since 2007 it expanded tests to cover all water sources like spic et cetera and hoses too. City protocol is to put a filter on and if too high the source has been taking out of service. And theres better recordkeeping and all new tests, by the way, guys, theyll get them done by june 17.
