People have died from this one storm system. Its bringing heavy snow to the midwest, tornadoes here in florida, louisiana and virginia, collapsing buildings with high winds in pennsylvania and gusty thunderstorms in new england. Five people, including a toddler, were killed wednesday in virginia as a severe storm system moved north after leaving a path of death and destruction in the deep south. Three of the victims a 50yearold man, a 26yearold man and a twoyearold boy died were inside a mobile home in waverly just outside of norfolk. Back here in florida, people are cleaning up this morning in punta gorda where an ef 1 tornado packing winds up to 110 Miles Per Hour caused damage to dozens of homes. Right now, the department is still using 60 cameras as a trial run that ends next month. The department is way to fund the permanent use. Each camera costs dollars. Passed by the senate, florida would pay to rebury the students whose remains were found on the grounds of Dozier School for boys. The bill would provide 75 hundred dollars for funeral and burial expenses for each body. Usf researchers exhumed dozens of bodies from the campus in an investigation. The school is just 60 miles west of tallahassee. It closed down in 2011 due to allegations of abuse. Homeowners are not allowed to set up backyard gun ranges anymore. This comes from a bill that was signed into a law by governor rick scott. The debate sparked up last year when a st. Pete man created a makeshift gun range in his backyard.
