Right now italian media is reporting a man is under arrest in connection with the murder of a florida woman in italy. 35yearold ashley olsen was strangled in her home in italy over the weekend. When 14 month old Knowellan Kelly arrived here at Manatee Memorial Hospital doctors discovered hed had several broken ribs. Bruises on his chest. As well as bleeding and swelling of his brain that they say from those injuries the next day. A month later his moms boyfriend is now charged with the babys death. Investigators say 37 year old john stewart had been watching his girlfriends son, here at his palmetto home, while she worked. Records show Stewart Facebook messaged mother Danake Crawford that the little boy had been having seizures. He even took pictures. Documenting throwing up. All signs doctors say that would surface shortly brain and spinal from violently shaking or hitting knowellans head. Investigators insist that happened at stewarts hand. Just five months earlier Child Protective Services looked into a complaint that crawford didnt properly care for knowellan and her 3 other kids. Ages 2, 3, and 6. Allowing them to run outside unattended. Shed had just been arrested in front of the kids for driving without a license. Had stolen from her dad to buy drugs. And put herself before her children. Just 8 weeks before knowellans death. Cps investigators looked clean, and well cared for. Facing no threats or danger. And closed the case. Cps workers looked into 4 other complaints in 5 years.
