A search is underway in west allis for a suspect who shot a customer inside a cell phone store. It happened at the Cricket Wireless store at highway 100 and national. West allis police tell us one person was taken to the hospital by ambulance and that the victim was shot during a robbery. Officers descended on the store but the suspect got away. We saw the police around here and i think it was most alarming that we saw cops from all different areas. Like we saw cops from new berlin and west allis Police Report multiple Police Departments are helping in the search for the suspect. The person who was shot is expected to survive. Brendan dassey is one step closer to freedom this morning. A federal judge has told prison officials to release him by friday night. Just hours after that decision state attorney general brad schimel filed an emergency order with the us court of appeals in chicago asking to keep dassey would like the ruling by friday night. His brother told us the family is very anxious. I think the court and brad should just seriously back off. Brendan is not a violent criminal hes honestly a loving person who has a heart and soul just like anybody else. Dassey and his uncle, steven avery, were convicted of murdering Teresa Halbach back in 2005. A judge overturned his conviction saying into a confession. Today, authorities in Sheboygan County plan to release the names of two People Killed during a traffic accident. Deputies say they drove through a stop sign and hit another car. It happened at state highway 57 and county road ff in the town of rhine. Deputies found a 79yearold woman and 80yearold man trapped inside their car. The woman died at the scene. The man died on the way to the hospital. The 72yearold woman they hit was injured, but is expected to survive. A beaver dam woman is accused of running a major drug operation selling heroin and coccaine. According to authorities in dodge county 27yearold Lacresha Lightfoot was the major supplier of drugs in dodge county for the last two years. A Drug Task Force conducted multiple undercover operations to build their case against her using criminal informants. At least for awhile we have greatly diminished the availability of heroin and crack coccaine in the beaver dam and dodge county areas and were very excited about taking has been charged on 16 drug related counts. Authorities are still working to arrest her alleged associates. A bar owner in Walkers Point is defending an ad he placed in a local nightlife magazine.
