Rikki mitchell is live at the mes office with the tragic details, rikki the medical examiner Just Announced this morning that they have handled more than 70 probable Drug Overdose deaths in just the last seven weeks and now the epidemic has struck the medical examiners own family. According to an Investigation Report conducted by an outside agency 29 yearold Adam Peterson died inside a friends apartment on monday. He was reportedly homeless and staying here with his friend who woke up and found Adam Peterson face down on the floor. Paramedics arrived and administered narcan known to reverse the effects of a Drug Overdose but they were unsuccessful. Authorities found several different Prescription Medications in the apartment. Dr peterson reportedly told authorities that his son was known to abuse drugs. Court records show that Adam Peterson was ordered to a drug ha of a felony theft conviction. The medical Examiners Office is not commenting right now on Adam Petersons death and his father dr peterson has asked for privacy.
