Went to school and graduated and tried to make his life better than what it was. A product of miami and the pride and joy of his family. Trey walker beat the odds. He had so many dreams and he came too far, too far, too, too, too far and it is going the opposite way. Family members hoped and prayed for a miracle that tragic night, but they got the crushing news on friday. Walkers injuries were tomuch to over come. Lorena were back with a group of horses now healing in south florida in the devastating barn fire. Other race horses would not survive. And days after the horses are on the mend in the new home. 7s anne keel has this story. Reporter among the 11 surviving race horses, 4 of the healthiest have returned to the south florida trotting have where they will receive around the clock care. He needed those 12 or chose those 12 and he left 11 here. A massive barn fire killed 12 atthe property owned by stam stathos. The electric blew up. It was just too much. The roof started to come down and the horses were just on fire. Trainer roman lopez said he did all he could. This was the photo taken at the scene and flames shooting 30 feet in the air. They say it could take 67 weeks to heal on the horses backside but will focus on potential damage to the horses lungs because of all of that smoke. And theyre not going to get any worse.
