Secured the vehicle, waited on the wrecker. We stayed on the scene with our swift water guys in case the wrecker guy had an accident. Cont vo captain lee roe said this was one of 2 other weather related accidents that crews had responded to this morning. Tag 15 42 23 vdot is now shifting its focus from those primary roads to the secondary roads here in covington and allegheny county, and they hope to have all of those cleared by tomorrow mornings commute. Plenty of Power Outages because of this storm. At last check, about forty five hundred people were without power there. All morning, crews have responded to reports of trees down blocking roads. A tree pulled some power lines down along axton road and caused a portion of the power pole to break off. The Danville Utilities Department is working to restore power to around 750 customers. Crews have been in the 3hundred block of kennon road since around nine. Working to get everything cleaned up and repaired. The city says. The largest concentration of outages happened around five this morning. When there was a substation. Utility workers say. Theyre glad they didnt have as many Power Outages from this storm as they did about a year ago. Thats when around 25 hundred people lost power.
