They transported hernandez to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He attempted to block his door from the inside. Last friday the former patriots tight end was found not of murder in the shooting death of two men back in 2012, but hernandez was already serving a life sentence for murder in the 2013 killing of odem loyd. Massachusetts police are on scene. Hernandezs family has been notified. It just happened in the last few hours. Thank you. In january the former president spent two weeks in the hospital with pneumonia. For a time he was put on a ventilator to help him breathe. At the same time his wife, barbara bush spent five days in the same hospital for bronchitis. The pair had just celebrated their 72nd wedding an verse say. One of the newest troops in new york city wants you to think of overcoming adversity. Morgan joins us now. Good morning. This troop is a little bit different. In fact, theyre the first of their kind here in new york. Troop 6,000 is unite bid how they play and support each other and also how they live. Troop 6,000 is just like any other girl scout troop. Were all girl scout sisters. Were all a pack. Reporter they dance. Reporter they color. They pledge to make the world a better place. But unlike their fellow future leaders, these girls are all homeless. Do you think people treat you differently because they know youre in a shelter . No. You guys get to do all the same things the other girl scouts do . It kind of feels like youre not alone. Why . It shows you youre not the only one that has the same problem. Reporter run out of the sleep in, a motel turned makeshift shelter, families here share tiny beds. Like the children of single of this single mother. I felt ashamed. Reporter which is why she wanted something for her kids to look forward to so she started the girl scout troop in february with the help of the department of homeland services. Reporter how do programs like this help solve the problem . Now that we have 70 of the shelter system is families, we have to help children not end up back in the shelter system as adults. Reporter troop 6,000 is first in new york city designed for homeless girls. There are currently 22 members. Our mission is to give girls courage and reporter the number six putting these trail blazers in a classify themselves. If you see a girl with 6,000 on, it just makes you we went through the same thing. Reporter their duties in the scouts helping highlight their determination, even when things get tough. If theres any one thing you want me to know about your girl scout troop, what would it be . That we all share. Reporter that everybody is equal. We all act like were real sisters. Reporter real sisters. Real sisters. The new york chapter covers all the costs associated with troop 6,000.
