It will be congresss highest profile battle and with the Health Care Coverage of 20 million americans in the balance, some of the highest stakes House Republicans looking to their own party to repeal and replace the Affordable Care act. Whats gone . The mandate or requirement people get covered or pay a fine. What stays . Coverage for people with preexisting conditions and for children remaining on their parents insurance until age 26. Whats changed . Keeps Medicaid Expansion in place for low income americans but only until 2020. It promoets continuous coverage by implementing a 30 premium on people who let their insurance lapse and allows for a system of tax credits to help people pay for insurance based on age and not income. Credits limited to exclude the wealthy. The price tag still isnt clear without an official cost estimate. Republican leaders say theyll pay for it partly with savings from repealing obamacare. The programs arent sustainable the way they are. We people. It could mean trouble. Thats partly why senator rand paul is getting a personal pitch from the president. He didnt really tell me its got to be this way or not. I think he soap to discussion. He didnt say take it or leave it. With republicans in the control of congress and the white house its their best shot yet to make good on a yearlong promise town do the Affordable Care act but democrats aiming to protect former president obamas signature policy wont let it go down easily arguing more people could lose coverage under the new plan. Well fight to make sure that people with insurance under the Affordable Care act will maintain that insurance. The white house is pressure on those more hesitant republicans to try to get their support. As for time line the gop wants to move fast aiming to have obamacare repealed and replaced by easter break. South carolina were down to just one provider under if that provider leaves my entire state loses obamacare coverage. Everyone wants to call it death spiral so i dont think its fair to want to compare what were proposing today to what obamacare might have been. We have to compare it to what obamacare is and this new program is going to be a tremendous success. Let me play for you something the president himself said on 60 minutes about whether people will be covered, take a look. Everybody has to be covered. This is an nonrepublican thing for me to say. But universal health care. I am going to take care of everybody. Everybody is going to be taken care of. Much better than now. The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. Who pays for it . The government is going to pay for it. Plan keeps that promise of the president to cover everybody . Sure, what people are getting here is compared to obamacare. Obamacare made insurance affordable but care impossible to actually afford. The deductibles were too high so folks could say they had coverage but couldnt get the care when they get sick. We solve that by giving everyone access to health care they can afford. A lot of people say thats washington speak. Access thoelth care is not the same as health care. Are you saying its available to anybody under the new plan . We forced people to have insurance. Its a real easy way to make sure that everybody has insurance when you put a man date on it and dont in the process when you put people between their care. So i do think its a dramatic increase. They have not had time to tell people how much its going to cost. Would you as a member of Congress Cast a vote on something when you didnt know what it cost . No, we will know what it costs before they vote on it. In fact i dont think they can vote on it without the number coming in but everybody that looked at it knows this is going to save a dramatic amount of money. Now to a bombshell interview released overnight. Casey anthony, the florida woman accused and acquitted in the 2008 killing of her own daughter is speaking out for the first time. Casey anthony knows that much of the world believes she killed her 2yearold daughter caylee but in an interview with the Associated Press she insists she did not know how the last hours of the toddlers life unfolded. Almost 9 years after little caylees death and six years after her mother Casey Anthony was controversial acquitted of her mother and other charges of harming her daughter, anthony is breaking her silence in a series of exclusive interviews about her daughters death and the years since. Once labeled the most hated mom in america, anthony says she knows many people ll to your understanding how did she die . I dont know. You dont know, something about drowning possibly . Everyone else has their theories. I dont know. So your parents had her. My dad did. And the next thing you know she is missing, right . How did it play. I know what i was told. I dont remember too much of what happened. Caylee went missing in june 2008 but had been missing for a month before her grandmother contacted police. Casey anthony was eventually charged in her disappearance. Police later finding caylees remains in a wooded area near the family home. Anthony says the last time she saw caylee she believed she was alive and she was going to be okay. Give me the situation when things went wrong. When did things go wrong . All of a sudden its like wheres caylee . Is that how it went . In bed and my mom coming in before she left for work and saying goodbye to us. And then waking up several hours later. Later in the morning. Later in the morning. Hour, two hours later and not knowing where she was. Dont you wish you know what happened. Absolutely. Anthony was found not guilty of firstdegree murder by an orlando jury in 2011 but was convicted of lying to police and served three years in prison. Anthony says she believes casey would be an extraordinary preteen if she was still alive. Caylee would be 12 this year. What would she be like right now. Total bad i would like to think she would be listening to classic rock and plague sports and not taking [ bleep ] from anybody. These days anthony lives and worksth who was the lead investigator on her defense team. She says she tries to live a normal life staying under the radar adding, i dont give [ bleep ] about what anybody thinks about me. I dont care about that. I never will. Im okay with myself. I sleep pretty good at night. In the interview, casey says she keeps her bedroom decorated with photos of caylee, openly weeping when she showed off colorful finger painteddaughter we should mention nbc news has not seen the full transcripts of the interviews. The Associated Press says they were conducted over the span of about a week. Five interviews. Many of them were taped. She is also living with the lead investigator for her murder trial. Is there anything legally that could happen to her at this point given she has already been acquitted at trial . No, she is in the clear because of double jeopardy regarding the allegations of a physical crime. The only thing would be if she admitted to some other new thing. But she was already in trouble for false statements so theres not a lot left. Why now, why speak out now and is there any risk whether it will legal or otherwise. Perhaps she wants to somehow turn a page but this was a case that had so many questions. The first being why wait 31 days to report a missing child and i dont know in the partial interviews from what we have seen i dont know that she cleers those questions up. Another quote that jumped out in the report was her saying, you know, theres still a lot she cannot explain. So its not as if after a trial full of questions she has come out and given new answers or something she didnt want to say on the stand. Its much lingering. The trial judge had just given an opinion about this case recently. Yeah, the trial judge has spoken out. Thats probably inappropriate. Thats a person that wants to stay impartial throughout the whole arc of it. These cases are huge points of discussion. Just as regular people seem to keep an eye on them sometimes the participants and judges do as well but this is a situation where for folks that remember the trial itself under all of these questions about why didnt you report, why didnt you have good answers for what happened . Why did some physical evidence appear to suggest that someone who knew the child killed the child but thats not always enough to bare the burden of proof. The prosecution didnt have the smoking gun evidence of what really happened. They just had a lot of questions of suspicious behavior. That doesnt mean youre a murder in the eyes of the law. And her vets say the 25yearold born in captivity herself is showing all signs for a healthy delivery. When you look down here, you can see something pulsing. Reporter thats the heartbeat . Exactly. Probably the aoror to. And this shows the calfs that is or he. Or he. But with that excitement here also a realization. Not everyone likes animals in captivity. Our society is perceiving animals differently. Theyre not just animals anymore. Theyre also individual human beings and as people are more respectful its a great thing. Julie has spent almost 2 decades with orcas at seaworld. Youre excited and they think it is interesting its also sad to think that its going to be here instead of out in the wild you would say. Dont be sad. This is historic. Its amazing. It will going to do everything we can to make sure that were going to take care of this calf as well as the rest of the wales at seaworld. Theres no reason to keep this new baby in a tank for decades when they could start a new life together in seaside sanctuary. Seaworld says there are no sanctuaries. Only the open ocean. To do that would be a death sentence. A death sentence because newborns learn to hunt and survive at their mothers side and in this case she has never been in the wild. It would be incredibly irresponsible for us to think that we could take animals that have been under human care and in this environment for their entire lives and be able to release them responsibly. Exercise was never my thing until i started exercising with Richard Simmons. He says that after 40 years of teaching exercise classes at his Beverly Hills studio simmons stopped with no warning or explanation. On february 15th, 2014, Richard Simmons doesnt show up to class. And he didnt just stop showing up, he stopped communicating all together. Totally out of character for a guy who loved being around people. But last march simmons spoke to savannah by phone and denied anything was wrong. For all the people that are worrying about me i want to tell them that i love them with my whole heart and soul and that not to worry, richard is fine. In the third episode of the podcast former employee accuses simmons long time housekeeper of keeping him in his home. Allegations he has made before. She realized i was in the house. I read a profile of you and of course it was asked about your relationship with taylor swift and i thought when i read it you gave really thoughtful answers and i wondered what it was like to kind of go through all of that and to be the public eye in that way. I really believe in that relationship between an actor and the audience. There is no you cant call yourself an actor without the audience and my private life is private. Makes sense. We lowered the audition age this year down to 13 so youre seeing really young people on these teams. When you were 13 you were already classically trained and incredible. What is it like to turn your chair around around see such young kids doing great work. Its crazy. Its really hard. One of the most incredible things about the show is you are only listening to this persons on anything so when you turn around and you see a 13yearold youre like, you just sang like that . Its very exciting and its a big testament to how much talent is in the world and how much better people we all only get better overtime. So if youre 13 now sounding like that what are you going to sound like at 18. Its crazy. When your back is to that stage and we see your face and the performer up there, what are you listening for . What do you want to hear for your team . I want to feel. I am looking for the feeling. And if it gives me that feeling and i know its doing something to me its going to do something for other people. The big story line is blake and gwen and their relationship but what is really emerging is not just the blake and Adam Bromance but you seem to have this incredible connection. You love each other so much. We love each other more than blake and gwen love each other. Straight up. She is a friend of mine for a lot of years. We all love it so much. We love being able to have this opportunity and show ourselves but also give other people the chance to like show themselves and so we definitely have a connection. You can tell its real. Its real. What were able to give to everybody. By the end of the time you have really gotten something. You want these people that come on the show to leave better than when they walked in. Its less about a voice in music. You zero in on the larger life experience. Thats all we have. We have this life were living. All we can do is learn and become the best we can possibly be for ourselves in that moment and thats such an opportunity. It requires a bit of sedation. Theres also a risk potentially but i think overall in terms of procedures its much less invasive than actually having surgery and can be beneficial. Thank you so much.
