To a growing trend in hospitals across the country when it comes to how newborns are cared for after delivery. Many hospitals doing away with traditional baby nurseries. When it comes to having baby, everyones experience is different. Many want to keep mothers close never leaving their side during delivery and others would rather have the nurse take the baby for a while so they can rest but now hospitals are pushing back, mom, unless its urgent, stay with you. This is where babies traditionally go after theyre born. Theres a growing trend moms to be should know. Many hospitals are doing away with traditional baby nurseries. Its known as Baby Friendly initiative and it may come to a hospital near you. The Main Objective the Main Objective to encourage moms to breastfeed and bond more with their newborns by staying in the room around the clock. If you are not available to hear the prefeeding cries. By the end of next year, there will be an estimated 530 hospitals, and thats about one in four births in america, and Massachusetts General Hospital in boston is among them. The research is abundant and it shows the benefits of keeping a mom and baby together in their room really creates an environment is that the healthiest for the baby and mothers. We have warm water. Ill add in some salt. Some fresh garlic that we smashed and we stir that up. We make this our brine. The salt will penetrate. We add chicken thighs in and let it sit for an hour and a half in the fridge. It can go overnight if you want. Ive had some thats been sitting. Can i do breasts if i like breasts better . You can do st scissors, too. I wouldnt do that. I think thats a thigh. We have garlic. Smoked paprika. Cayenne, salt and pepper. Thyme. Make our rub here. Stir that up while i mix this up. Orange juice and mayonnaise. This provides fat for the marinade. Mix in orange juice like this. We add in seasonings youre making there and add chicken thighs to that. That we marijuanate overnight. Take them out like this and straight onto the grill like so. Now, this is where the patience comes in. I like to take a brick and put it right on top of these thighs like this. Tell me about the brick. What does it do for you . It keeps it even. As possible. Now theres obviously variations in the muscle of the animal. Put brick on there to hold it. As food cooks it wants to curl and shrink and it gets nice and even and then it takes patience. This is where we would say shut the grill and you have to have a lot of patience which most gentlemen dont. We want to play with the meat. You have to have patience. We wait until theres a nice char on it and take the brick off and well flip it over. I heard it over here. How are we doing over here . Best chicken ever had in my life. Nice and beautiful. Now let me talk you through this. Take cauliflower and smoke it first. If you have a smoker on the grill or put it on the top shelf and then we grill it to get nice char like we have here. Jacob loved to create things. He approached life as an explorer. Everything was just new and adventurist and interesting. As part of a class project at Rhode Island School of design, jacob created an American Flag shaped pspatula. He saw something we should have seen before. After graduation jacob pitched his design to a company that would license the star spangled spatula. The neat thing is that it reflects jacobs playfulness and his ability to see things the way he would look at life.
