Folk who had lost their jobs, they are looking at possibly rehiring some of those people and rebranding this as a university of maryland medical systems hospital. Dimensions hospital, the manager for all of prince georges hospitals still will be involved. What all that will look like, were trying to hammer outse details right now. The county executive made it plain during a press conference that Laurel Hospital may have a future if the people who live in this city can help them to figure out a way to make it work. Neighbors in Prince Georges County are protesting plans to expand a walmart against a new push to expand a walmart in clinton to a 24hour super center. Protesters are demanding better jobs in the county along with greater access to Grocery Stores and restaurants. A new 22story building has been approved for the ball database ston neighborhood. It will have two floors of retail space. Eight floors of office space and can 12 floors of apartments. There also be five levels of underground parking which has already been built. Nearby mosaic park will undergo maybe youve been trapped in traffic along that busy i270 at some point. Maryland wants to hand out some money to reduce congestion on that road. Plan ahead if this is a normal path of travel for you. The Fairfax County teenager hurt in an explosion in central park is 19yearold connor golden stepped on a homemade explosive on july 3rd. Medical staff are working with him to teach him to use new prosthetic devices. He is a very strong and resilient young man. He will bounce back from this tragedy. He will not let this define who he is. Investigators do not believe the homemade explosive was a firework. Police believe it was made by an explosive hobbyist and not designed to intentionally hurt people. The nypd is offering a 12,000 reward for more information on this case.
