Apparently this car went into water in the area of one of the boat ramps. Look at some video from earlier. This happened at about 10 10 last night. We dont know how the call came in, but eventually police did respond to the report of a car in the water. When they got here, they found the vehicle wheels up in the Anacostia River. We have confirmed an adult male has been pulled from that car. Police did search the shoreline and the area around where this car was located. We dont have much other information in terms of identification of the person in the car, but, again, they are awaiting a crane now and towing vehicle to get the car out of the water. But, again, an adult male found in a car, inside the Anacostia River. Wheels up, happened at 10 10 last night at a boat ramp near the end of anacostia drive. Montgomery county police say someone shot a woman as she drove to a metro station last night. And witnesses reported hearing up to seven shots on martins lane near the rockville swim center. Baltimore Police OfficerWilliam Porter will have a new trial in the death of freddie gray in june. Porter was supposed to be the first of six baltimore officers to face charges in grays death. Last week a hung jury forced a judge to call a mistrial. Now all five of the officers are scheduled to be tried before porters next trial beginning with officer caesar goodson. Investigators say gray died of a spinal injury he received in the back of a police van in april. Goodson was driving the van, his trial begins january 6th. A texas state trooper could still face charges in the case of sandra bland. In july, bland was arrested after a traffic stop and was later found hanging in her jail cell. A grand jury has decided not to indict any Sheriff Deputies or guards from the jail where she died. It did not reach a decision on whether the trooper should face charges.
