News4 was at Saint Columbus church in northwest last night where concerned voters gathered to pray. Some of the people we spoke to told us that the hateful rhetoric in the president ial race has caused an even deeper divide between democrats and republicans. I think that the two candidates have created such adversity and created such anger that i think that the people that are voting for them have had to follow in that camp. Other people told us that will represent everyone, not just democrats or republicans. Voters who are parents, you might want to turn the voting process into a teachable moment for your kids today. Here is what you need to know. In d. C. , minors are allowed to go with voters. In maryland, voters can take one or two children under the age of 18 with them. In virginia, those kids must be 15 or younger. No matter what, theyre not allowed to disrupt the voting procedures.
