Ryan ordered the death of his uncle from behind bars because his uncle was going to testify against him for two murders dating back to 2011. This morning a mother is asking for answers after her son was hit by a car on his way to school. Demarcus grant was crossing the street at 17th and lieman place in northeast washington yesterday morning when a car came out of nowhere and hit him. Grant hit his face on the car window and was thrown into the street. By the time he came to, the car was already gone. His mother says someone needs to be held accountable. That money includes furniture and a slush fund. The twostory remodel could begin as soon as march right after the county board chooses an official bid for the work on february 22nd. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says his office is cooperating with a federal investigation into lane closures near a busy new jersey bridge that caused traffic jams for four days. Federal investigators are looking into what christie knew about the closures and when. Christies former deputy chief of staff Bridgette Kelly is envoking her right not to incriminate herself and is refusing to cooperate with a subpoena from state lawmakers. This is how the robber entered the subway shop here in burtonsville after getting inside the store. They then walked back here to the kitchen area which is in the back of the subshop. They walked inside after hours around 2 30, so nobody was here. Once they got inside, they saw the cash drawer was sitting here on the sink. They were able to take 150 out of that cash drawer. Then they went into the shop itself and there was a safe under the counter. They took that. And here you can see the security system. There are Security Cameras here at the restaurant. The thief, though, took the recording device. So if they appearing on the cameras, police are never going to have the opportunity to look at the tape because the dvr has been taken. Now, it was three months ago talking to the owner that there was a very similar crime here, a similar similar smash and grab. He doesnt know if its the same person, but because of the similarities, hes really wondering. He came in the say way and the last time they came in same time, like middle of the night. Reporter and there have been more than two dozen rather similar smash and grabs that have happened in Montgomery County and Prince Georges county. Heres some surveillance tape that was shot at one of those crimes. There were a couple incidences where the person involved was captured in the video. Heres a lookthat. Now police are looking at possible connections with an awful lot of similarities here. Some of these crimes are indeed connected but they are not sure if they all are. Obviously in late of the latest robbery happening here in burtonsville, they will look at that case as well. Unlike the previous cases, though, they will not have or be aided by surveillance tape because the person responsible here, the thief, made them wait with the cash and with that Security Camera system. The training and the snow conditions have been just perfect for what they do. They like the course. It has been a fantastic experience so far. I take care of slopes and we handled training yesterday and the course was perfect. We are going to train in about an hour and they are excited. The rail and bus system built to get athletes to the mountain cluster cost more than 8 billion. Tonight freezing rain and ice is headed here and their way making for an even nastier situation. Plus more snow could be coming this weekend. And we expect to see some ice tonight and we have Team Coverage tracking when it will arrive. Chuck bell will zoom into the neighborhood that has seen the most ice, but we start with storm team 4 meteorologist tom kieran to look at when the ice will arrive. Yeah, around our region its going to be coming in later tonight. And right now around our area weve got just a partly cloudy sky. Here are your headlines. We will have patchy ice around now dealing with the aftermath of what happened yesterday. Whatever stayed wet overnight froze up, so watch out for that. We have a winter storm warning for tonight and icing is likely late tonight into wednesday. And here is the look at the area where were getting the patchy ice right now. The aftermath of yesterdays sloppy snow in the shellen doe Washington Valley and right along the pennsylvania border, all these areas are where the ice is right now. So watch out for that around the metro area with a little bit of ice around, too. If your sidewalk and front steps look wet, that could be ice. We are in the 20s. Nearby suburbs in virginia and maryland, most of the region now in the 20s to near 30 degrees. Hour by hour well get above freezing by 8 30 to 9 00 this morning. Then temperatures quickly jumping into the upper 30s by noontime and hovering right around 40 degrees. Much of the region during the afternoon as we see clouds on the increase by this afternoon and then, i think, well have rain arriving tonight. That rain coming in around 8 00 to 9 00. Then it starts to ice up. All the counties in color are under a winter storm warning including howard, montgomery, loudoun, points north and west of there. Thats commencing again. It does look like around 9 00 to 10 00 tonight. Icing could accumulate a quarter to half inch causing dangerous travel. Maybe accumulation on tree limbs and power lines and making for a messy commute on wednesday morning. Well likely have delays tomorrow. So were waiting for the brief meltdown today. The real problem obviously tonight into tomorrow morning. Heres our local computer model i turned in to show you the Ice Accumulation starting at 1 30 this afternoon. Not much of a problem there, but Going Forward through time well have more and more in the way of Ice Accumulations developing at 7 00 tonight. But going through the overnight, thats where the bright red colors are. Northern Frederick County, up towards hagerstown, smithburg, out into the shellen doe Washington Valley, the high spots west of leesburg, those areas highlighted in red will see anywhere between a heavy accumulation of ice and a daerous accumulation of ice possible. The lighter shading in and around the metro area of fairfax, Prince Georges, the district and Montgomery County, light to moderate icing. Well watch this carefully and be on the air early tomorrow.
