Reporter i got to tell you we took the dulles toll road to route 7 into leesburg and we were dealing with rain all morning long until we got to historic leesburg. As you mentioned, aaron, you can see the snowflakes falling. Here is the thing. Youve heard tom say all morning long. The road temperatures are too high for this to stick. If you look right here, even in the untreated areas, the snow is not stinging. Even if you look here, Road Conditions are not that bad. They are wet. But they are not snowy and at least here along certain parts of Leesburg Pike theyre not icy. If you are headed out this morning, know you have to dust your car offment youll have a little bit of accumulation. Probably a little less than an inch. As soon as you get to the roads and sidewalks, you should be okay. A lot of areas coming in were affected by rain. We had puddles then we got here to leesburg and then snow and flurries. Thats when were expecting to see the major Flight Cancellations and into tomorrow. They want to move as many people around, get them to the destinations before the weather hits as possible. Hes trying to get to the ukraine. The flights overbooked everywhere out o of kennedy. Like i heard two thirds of the flights domestic were canceled. You need to catch this flight . The department of Veterans Affairs apologizing to the families of vets whose remains were unmarked or mismarked. The Department Found nearly 800 problems in its review of every single grave in the National Cemetery system. It took the va more than a year to look at millions of gravesites. This was sparked by problems at arlington National Cemetery. The problems included unmarked and mismarked graves as well as urns that were unearth and dumped into a pile of dirt. Police in Montgomery County say they finally have a break in a series of home burglaries. Three men have been charged with robbing more than 30 homes in North Potomac since last spring. Police caught them after breaking into a home last month. Theyre accused of stealing more than 100,000 worth of property. The Airports Authority is reacting to a report this morning saying the agency could be missing out on millions of dollars of revenue from the dulles toll road. The Washington Examiner first reported that there were more than a million toll violations on the road last year. But less than 100,000 tickets were issued. Less than one in ten violators was getting hit with a fee. The Airports Authority says the report doesnt account for false violations like equipment problems. They say only 1 of drivers use the toll road without pay and in those cases the agency works hard to collect fees. Tonight, getting around on metro could be tough.
