Breaking news right now, out of mexico. Shots fired at a private school there. Police say a student fired a gun injuring a teacher, another student and himself. Now, this happened in the northern mexican city of monterey at a private elementary and secondary there. This is the latest in a series of shootings in mexico in the past two days. A couple different shootings there, in all nine people in the shootings have been killed and others of course injured. All right, melissa, thank you. Huge showers are getting going through the region. 695 through baltimore and in Southern Maryland but otherwise we are dry. We are keeping sunshine here. Boy, were up to 59. Here we go. Temperatures just updated. Temperatures are going to top out in the low 60s for daytime highs today. Were dry for the remainder of the day. As we get into your thursday, we keep dry conditions around. Especially for the welcoming ceremony. And its really not going to be that bad. Just a touch cooler on thursday. By friday a few showers moving into the area specifically by the time we head into the inauguration. The swearingin ceremony. A few showers pushing into the area. Theyre going to be light. But remember you cannot take your umbrella down to the National Mall. So youre going to want to pack a light rain jacket or a poncho. Temperatures are only going to be in the upper 40s. So its l side. But again, some scattered showers from the mid morning to mid afternoon. There could be fog later on friday night and on saturday morning. If youre headed to the womens march on saturday, cool to start, but temperatures by noon should be up by that 50 degree mark. It will be fairly mild as we get into the afternoon. And weve gotten mild weather. I talked to emilio about this. This is usually about the coldest time of the year that we have. But again, we are going to be fairly warm. Now, of course Inauguration Day temperatures around 50 degrees. Then for saturday, temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. A chance of rain return on sunday and monday and still fairly mild. Temperatures can drop as we get into tuesday, but other than that, we have gotten dry conditions as we head through the end of next week. But temperatures all in all not that bad.
